I actually agree with them on this, goal line technology needs to be brought ASAP. But my worry is that if that's successful they'll start to bring in technology for penalties, red cards etc. which is totally unneccesary and would take away a huge part of debating about football

Yeah I was expecting Torres too. Kinda of frustrating how Drogba only plays well for the big games (i.e. when he can be arsed
). But he'll certainly be up for the Barca game on Wednesday after what happened when we played them last, so it'll be interesting to see who RDM chooses up front
He may play both Drogba and Torres up front Phoenix
whatever technology comes into the game would make decisions a hell lot more accurate than they are now. it annoys me when people say technology correcting all the decisions would give fans nothing to talk about. how about discussing the football itself? besides, there will always be transfer speculation and some manager on the verge of getting the sack!

Doubtful they don't play well together torres can't even buy a goal keep him on the subs bench for as long as possible.
Think chelsea can give barca a real good go if the likes of drogba mata ramires play at there best.

And the standard of referrees? isn't that another topic for debate? Personally i agree with alan Green on 5 live on 606 last night, when he said he felt that the standard of refereeing this season has been the worst it's been. Anybody agree? I thibnk not many clubs would takwe up goal line technology as many may find itr expensive, especially at the lower end of the leagues Personally i think more needs to be done to make officials are communicating with each other on decisions. I couldn't see how Atkinsobn could give Chelses controversial goal and JT should have been honest enough to tell him that it wasn't!!
i'm not going to criticise the overall standard of refereeing because i think it's a very difficult job made even harder by players constantly trying to deceive them. players and managers can't knock refs if they carry on cheating.
Here are the nominated players for PFA Player of the Year Award:
Sergio Ageuro
Joe Hart
Robin Van Persie
Scott Parker
Wayne Rooney
David Sliva
Robin Van Persie will win, but where is Clint Dempsey on this list?
hopefully Wigan will stuff Arsenal, then everyone will forget they beat United!
and i agree with dan. Dempsey has had a better season than half the players on that list.
EDIT - if Wigan try to defend their lead for the rest of the game, it's suicide
