Perfect. Fit's the bill nicely. Old, boring, talks shite and will easily send you to sleep. I shall be avoiding MOTD from now on then.
suppose thats the only perk of not now being in the premiership i dont have to watch MOTD anymore
You can't blame Clint Dempsey for wanting a new challenge he's not gonna achieve anymore with Fulham than he already has & at 29 his next 4 year contract will be his last at the top end of the game. Yes he's going the wrong way about it but it doesn't surprise me, his agent will be telling him to do whatever it takes to force a move knowing a move to Arsenal, which looks the most likely depending on how they do today will net him over £1m in fees.
It annoys me when you hear of a player getting fined 2 weeks wages for refusing to play for the club who hold his signature on a contract, if you aren't willing to play for them then the club should hold the right to not pay you untill you do.
I think it was Plymouth or Peterborough who were in the shit last season & couldn't afford to pay any of the clubs staff yet the team still took to the field every week. If Dempsey is doing it of his own accord then he's a twat but if he's just following what his agent says then he should be on the field putting himself in the shop window doing what he does best.

Agents - another cancer to football that needs to be cut out

It was Plymouth. They didn't have a pot to piss in, and couldn't pay their staff, players or anything. This had been going on for 9 months with people more or less going unpaid!! There was a divide if the players should go on strike or not, but Peter Reid got the team together along Fletcher and convinced them to play on.
Peter Reid was also paying bills e.g electric and gas bills, out of his own pocket for the club. Peter Reid also donated his 1986 FA Cup Final loser's medal to be auctioned to help raise money for the club's unpaid staff. With almost every asset of the team sold off and having to make do, Peter Reid was then sacked.
who said steve clark was a waste of space of a manager
Can't believe history has repeated itself Last sesson we lost 4-0.
Today it is the same again!! I have to say it doesn't bode well.

Its actually a worst start for QPR this season than last season after losing 5-0 to Swansea
Lots of goals so far for the first games of the season, I'm surprised by that
Arsenal have accepted a fee of 15 million from Barcelona for Song
Thats a massive blow for Arsenal. I think Song will be a bigger loss to Arsenal than Van Persie
Although if Arsenal use the money to buy M'Vila then he would be a good replacement for Song
