it is a disgrace that Derry's red card hasn't been overturned. what the FA have done is say that placing your hand on someone is a foul - in essence, football is officially a non-contact sport! except that, it's not...
how the fuck have they not banned Balotelli? you touch someone and it's a red, but you almost break someones leg and nothing?? the most shocking thing is why he hasn't been banned - because Martin Atkinson saw the "challenge", therefore it was dealt with.
if Martin Atkinson saw that challenge and did nothing (not even a freekick!), then he needs to be fired immediately. if a referee can watch something like that happen and do nothing, he is dangerous, unsafe and unfit to officiate a professional football match.
what team would want Atkinson refereeing their games now and putting their players at risk? and the FA (& Fifa) can't do anything about it because their hands are tied by their own dumb fucking rules!!
the FA are a fucking awful organisation. they clearly fixed Derry's ban in order to protect Lee Mason. after all, if it was a foul, why reduce the ban? it was a straight red which should be 3 games, right?
ultimately, the message is this: cheat, break someones leg, but no matter what, keep your hands to yourselves!
Isn't Balotelli getting a nine game ban?
the fa are full of old men more interested in money than football and untill that changes we have to put up with stupid rules.

It's not just the FA... Sepp Blatter and FIFA are far worse..

IMHO Atkinson and Mason should
never referee a game again fuill stop. They have shown themselves to be inconsistent and incompetent and they have dragged refereeint ot a level of standard which is way beyond the gutter level. I hope that QPR (and their lawyers) will consider taking their case to FIFA or UEFA, or through the legal route by taking the FA to the Supreme Court. If Balotelli can get away with a potential leg breaker and Young can dive to get a penalty what wouild the refere do if anyonwe was actually killed in a game through a tackle? Two weeks ago we were all praising Howard Webb when Muamba collapsed. Atkinson & Mason have dragged refereeing standards back into the gutter. If anything Balotelli can count himself lucky to get a three match ban he should be sitting the out the rst of the season and the Euros. I wouldn't say the FA are a joke, I think they are an international
sporting embarassment. We're a couple of months away from the Euros and still they have not appointed Crapello's replacement. When are they going to appoint him? The night before the start? They should have sorted it as soon as Crapello left.
I'm hearing in the papers today that Arsenal may make a move for Fulham's Clint Dempsey for 10 million. He's a top player and I wouldn't mind if Newcastle went in for him, we need more strength in depth, he would also be good for Liverpool. The problem is, where exactly does he play?
Half an hour in, this is what Wolves face...
The Fulham owner (I'm not going to spell his name, its too difficult) has written to the Premier League and FA about the standard of referring, I wonder what their response will be?
Plus I think based on how tonights match is going, Wolves should start planning for the championship
