So if he wants to renew his contract, so does that mean he wants a higher salary per week lets say about 300,000 a week
Yeah exactly, he wants to be paid more money so he isn't hit by the tax increase!
Also read that Man City are now lining up a potential £95m bid for him, although they say Man City will have to sell to clear up space in the wage structure for him. Crazy money. I can't see it happening, not just because of the incredible amount of money, but I can't see Ronaldo joining any Premier League team other than Man Utd again.
1. Samuel Eto'o Anzhi €20m
2. Zlatan Ibrahimovic PSG €14.5m
3. Wayne Rooney Man Utd €13.8m
4. Yaya Toure Manchester City €13m
5. Sergio Aguero Man City €12.5m
6. Didier Drogba Shanghai €12m
7. Fernando Torres Chelsea €10.8m
8. Dario Conca Guangzhou €10.6m
9. Lionel Messi Barcelona €10.5m
10. Cristiano Ronaldo Real €10m
I came across this on the Daily Mail and it lists the 10 highest earners in football.
I know footballers earn far too much, but can anyone explain how Dario Conca is earning more than Messi and Ronaldo? Who the fuck is this guy? He must be Maradona and Pele fused together to be earning more than Messi and Ronaldo.
On a different note, PSG have declared they will not bid for Ronaldo, as they think Ibrahimovic is better
I understand why Ronaldo is feeling 'sad' and sympathise with the bloke.
It must be so hard to keep in shape all year round and maintain peak fitness and performance for at least 9 months of that year. It must be so hard filling up the hours in a day, training and practising when you have so many modelling contract to fulfil, so much money to spend and so many women to bone.
It must make you feel really 'sad' when you wake up mid morning and think "Which Ferrari should I drive to training today?" It must be so tough going to play football in almost any weather conditions with adoring fans screaming your name and the camera's fixed to you. It must be even harder to maintain your form when the rain is beating down on your face and the gel drips into your eyes.
It must be such a worry to wonder where your next million pounds will come from. It must really make you so 'sad' to no know what you're going to do once you retire. I dread to think how 'sad' it must make a man feel when they don't know where they're going to spend their summer holidays, and it must make him feel so upset when he is crusing in a speed boat and he see's Mr Abramovic and wonders why he didn't get an invite.
Cor, I feel 'sad' for Ronaldo now just mentioning the very things that could possibly upset the poor bugger.
Let's all offer Ronaldo a cuddle and our support in these trying times, and let's hope he gets through it okay.
I was reading a Martin Samuel article in the Daily Mail today and I totally agree with one of the comments in the article that English clubs should copy German clubs and have 51% of the club owned by the fans
uncle fester has not seen his 3 deadline day signings play in the flesh but shebby singh has so they must be world beaters. The Scot continued: "We feel as though we can improve any player that comes to the club and also integrate them as quickly as possible." = sell them on to the next dumb ass and they learn about playing football to get relegated.

Or they could be 100% owned by the paying public like Barcelona & the Green Bay Packers

It says Kean has not seen the players play live, but has he seen the players play on a dvd
I'm probably talking to deaf ears here but seen as I opened this thread specifically for what it says on the tin, whats the chance of alongside the usual discussions, getting back to the objective & a bit of back & forth banter among the growing number of supporters of different clubs thats gathering on here. All harmless & above board of cause.
I understand tone of voice can't be heard in a forum post but it becomes plainly obvious when people are starting to overstep the mark.
IF YOUR INCAPABLE OF DOING THIS BE IT GOING TOO FAR IN GIVING IT OUT OR HEARING IT FROM OTHER FANS THEN JUST DON'T EVEN BOTHER!!!
Banter/Noun: The playful and friendly exchange of teasing remarks.
Verb: Talk or exchange remarks in a good-humored teasing way: "the men bantered with the waitresses"; "a bantering tone".
No harm in asking....
Although he is on loan to Marseille I see that Joey Barton has not got away with the remaining nine matches of his ban.
The French League have confirmed that the ban will roll over into his campaign with France, meaning Barton will have to wait until the clash with Bordeaux on November 18 to make his Ligue 1 debut

I wonder if the DVD did exactly what it said on the tin!! I bet that DVd was doctored for Kean so he ssaid "Blooody 'ell, he's good let's sign him up!"
