Holy shit is Tim Cahill a terrible pundit or what? The BBC must be deranged or desperate to have hired him. He's actually worse than notorious bore Michael Owen.
^I didn't think the BBC would hire anyone more boring than Garth Crooks!!
I thought it was ridiculous & yet not al too unsurprising to watch the English pundits/presenter on Sky Sports (& too be fair Graeme Souness) twist themselves into knots over Harry Kane and the challenge from Sokratis that was deemed not to be a penalty.
At first they kept saying that Kane went down too easily and was looking for it, then they showed a similar incident from the game against Newcastle last week where Kane went down too easily and did not get the penalty and the presenter was talking about a technique that Kane has adopted as if what he was doing was some kind of venerable skill
If Kane was a foreign player every pundit on every tv show, on every radio broadcast, in every newspaper column & on every twitter profile would be shouting from the rooftops with fireworks, neon signs & brass band the exact same four letter word. Dive
But got forbid they do anything to tarnish the image of England's Golden Boy

Exactly you are dead right, just look at the furore over the soft penalties Salah got last season, Sky and Match of the Day, newspapers, punditry panel shows etc were all on it like flies on a shite but when it's the English golden boy there's barely a peep and they don't dare say the word dive using verbal gymnastics to get out of saying it, same with Maddison who also dived a few times last season. Double standards and total hypocrisy
Only Newcastle fans would be deluded enough to get upset at the notion that their club, which has achieved fuck all, is a step down from Real most champions league trophies in history Mother Fucking Madrid
WOW. Norwich are 2-0 up against Man City.
When was the last time that City were 2-0 down against anyone?
30 mins gone

Full time, 3-2 to Norwich, just goes to show that if teams actually try and play against City they have a chance, especially with Stones and Otamendi at centre back. Too often teams will sit everyone behind the ball against City just hoping they don't get smashed instead of at least trying to be proactive, showing no ambition and they get battered by 3, 4 or 5 goals anyway, they are not some invincible super humans, without Kompany and now Laporte gone until at least January they are VERY suspect at the back
£300m spent in the summer transfer window by Real Madrid and they did not manage a single shot on target in their 3-0 to PSG
No Mbappe
No Neymar
No Cavani
No problem
They'll probably take it out on their La Liga opponents this weekend.... not often that they don't get a shot on target, but something tells me they'll be back to normal this weekend and probably Zidane has heaped more pressure on himself to make amends for that loss
