Not sure, he played mid week and was a sub on Saturday, but when you have Terry, Cahill, Jones and Smalling would he get in any way ? I'm not even sure if he will get in the United team ahead of Vidic and Jones anyhow
Fair play about Welbeck, it is a game after all where we only need a point.
I agree with you, Rio would struggle to get back into the team, but Jones will move to RB and he'll slot in next to Vidic.
I personally think Terry is overrated himself. Carvalho made him look brilliant for years. The should really plan for the World Cup now, and blood in the likes of Jones, Smalling, Cahill, Walker, Cleverley (when fit), Wilshere (when fit) and Welbeck with the experienced other players.
Can't argue on that front Jack. I think Terry is in mainly for experience and because he is a natural leader. He will be fine all the time he has a quick centre half or full backs covering him.
Would be nice to see them building for the future, players you mentioned including Sturridge
and Baines, Martin Kelly, Henderson
Good to see Phil Jagielka getting a shot too.
Haha how could I have forgotten Sturridge and Baines from that list?! And the other 2...ahem...haha joking, they are certainly the future too!
Terry has always had his arse covered (lol) by better defenders, but as you say he is a leader, and is incredibly brave (and stupid) and he's respected for it.
It's nice to see Jagielka, but I think he's there for numbers, can't see a reason to play him to be honest
Forget who he's playing next to, his bravery, experience and leadership, Terry is an awesome defender full stop
Studge probably should've been picked but glad that he didn't to keep him fresh for us
no other english player would have put their head in the way like terry did against slovenia FACT! great defender!
Former England boss Steve McClaren has quit as Championship team Nottingham Forest manager after just 111 days in the job.
Forest were beaten 3-1 at home by Birmingham yesterday, leaving them only a point off the relegation zone.

I mean I'm really depressed about going to the Molineux at the moment. OK yesterday was more to their keeper playing a blinder and the ref screwing us over, but I understand what you mean - it gets me down having to keep going there and seeing them lose.
And to top it all off I've just put FIFA 12 (newly bought today) in the PS3 and was well angry with the shit quality of detail and gameplay.
Overall, I'd say this has been a fooking horrible weekend.
Fair play mate that is pretty bad. I thought FIFA is class!!!!! But i haven't got the latest one yet. need to get in.
I'm a bit late on the England squad thing & haven't read all the posts but why Martin Kelly hasn't been given a call up yet is just another one of the many Capello mysteries, if Glen Johnson was fit he'd be put in as first choice yet he may have been second choice for us at club level, second choice to.... Martin Kelly, fair play to Kyle Walker & Chris Smalling but Kelly's played more premier league games at right back than both of these two (I think Walker was on loan at Villa last season so this may not be true???) but still how he gets in the England squad after just 8 games for Tottenham yet Kelly hasn't even been in a squad yet is just a bit silly.
Daniel Sturridge should be in there aswell in place of Danny Welbeck, Bobby Zamora or Andy Carroll.
I can't wait till after the Euro's when he fucks off!!!
