We're apparently bidding for every name under the sun, but so far we've brought in Hazard, de Bruyne & Marin, having lost Bosingwa, Kalou & some other fella, so our squads not much stronger atm. We'll definitely be making more signings (I'm expecting to see one more £20m+ signing e.g. Hulk/Oscar/Schurlle/Jovetic, a RB & then one more attacker). But Europeans Champions or not, at the end of the day we finished 6th last season & 25 pts behind 2nd, so unless Chelsea put in a cheeky bid for Messi we have no right to to think we can jump straight back into the title race. Nonetheless should be a really exciting season!

There's some crazy figures out there as well. It's looking a bit like Fifa 12 on Career mode
. Journos jump all over these things though, i bet Chelsea are after 1 or 2 of the names we've heard and the rest is media rubbish. I doubt Di Matteo would be going to Abramovich with a list of players like that. If they're all true, they'll be coming from the owner i reckon.

Yeah it's pretty ridiculous. In the last 24 hrs we've apparently bid £25m for Walcott, £35m for Cavani, as well as signing Hazard's little brother
It's pretty easy to wade through the BS but it's still annoying

Maybe Abramovich wants to sign these to persuade Guardiola to be the next manager at the end of the next season
