Wenger has spent so little money over such a long period the board may not get too bothered about a non top four finish.
More than one season outside the top four might be problematical though.
This season they have spent bigger but over his tenure they generally have not exactly gone crazy with spending.
Was Piers Morgan's view on 606 right though last night?

Rodgers was a midtable manager last seson, He was just lucky to have Luis Suarez. What was clear we conceded 50 goals last season and he was unable to address it. However, we scored 100 plus goals, so conceding 50 wasn't an issue to him was it? We papered over the cracks of a poorly organised defence and midfield.
Now, Suarez has gone, and after spending close to 60m on defenders we are looking like conceding at least 50 or even more this season. We don't have Suarez to bail us out this season either.
Look at it like this. If United finished second, had spent 120m and after 11 games were 11th in the table, with last seasons problems not fixed and the added problem of a massive hole in attack, there would be at least 10 Liverpool fans here taking the piss, i'd probably be one of them... but i'm just being realistic here. What we are seeing is the managers team, playing his way and nothing will change his ego has got to big and he isn't seeing the bigger picture.
That won't change until either he's sacked or FSG tell him clearly he needs help from experienced coaches and a director of football... they gave Rodgers his chance to do it on his own and he's failed for me..
I would agree that tactically Rodgers has been well found out and with no Suarez to bail you out and Sturridge not likely back for some time, I'd say Rodgers has got well out of his depth this season
It's not only the defence there's the goalkeeper too, I think Mignolet just doesn't look like the sort of keeper who commands the box or helps the defence. And if Rodgers can't get it right, who the hell can?
Nah Wenger wont be fired its a bit like SAF Any chairmen who fires there longest serving manager and most sucessful manager is commiting commercial suicide. I mean would United have sacked SAF if he had still been there last season and the same thing had happened as happened to moyes Fuck no !!!!
Looks like the plans for Tottenham's new ground has hit the rocks.....
Current CL scores : -
MCFC 1 Bayern 0
Schalke 0 Chelsea 2
and FA had hinted they will not consider boycotting 2018 & 2022 World Cup
I totally agree that Ched Evans should not be allowed to earn a living playing football again. Because of his actions, his victim won't feel comfortable about getting pissed out of her tits and going home with total strangers ever again.

Yes just like every other victim of rape.
His job should not come into account...
If a Tesco worker was jailed for Rape then by all means Tesco as a company have the right to say "you will never work for our company again" thats fair enough...
The person still has the right to apply for jobs at other supermarkets and if for example Sainsburys wanted to hire him and give him a job he has every right to take it and it's up to Sainsburys as a company to employ them through their own choice..
Football clubs are all indevidual companies and it is down to each one who they want to employ... so if one club decides they don't want ched evans playing for them it doesn't mean another club can't give him a chance and hire him...
Just because he is a footballer shouldn't make it any different.. You wouldn't tell a mechanic who was convicted of rape he will never repair a car again would you?
Everton v Wolfsburg on ITV4.
The Wolfsburg strip makes them look like the Green Cross Code men.
(everton just gone 2-0 up)
