A little harsh I think. Remember, he is managing a bunch of divas who are aging but can't accept it. He has to try and exert some authority of the team, especially over the powerful clique in the dressing room, that got rid of Scolari and Grant (Cech, Terry, Cole, Lampard and Drogba). Apparently, these are the same players, and others too probably, who are still in decent contact with Mourinho!
I feel a little sorry for AVB as I think he has inherited an aging team, who are all past it, but can't accept it, so act like bigger tools than they have before

Yes and no with regards to the ageing players. There is of course no hiding behind the fact that certain players rule the dressing room and have had a huge say in how the club has been run in the past. I can completely understand why an air of sympathy would be directed at AVB as he has been put in to move these players on.
However I don't think he has handled the situation very well at all. He has dropped players like Lampard and Drogba without explanation. These players are club legends at Chelsea, and for all the bad press footballers get, when you bin a legend at any club it can have a detrimental effect not only to the dressing room but in the terraces as well.
I think he has been inept at bringing in new players to replace them as well. Morelias (sp?) has been a flop. Josh McEachern got loaned out with only 5 minutes here and there. I've heard he's the next big player, yet he hardly featured. Ryan Bertrand has been labelled the next Ashley Cole, yet he plays Bosingwa instead. Cahill was brought in and he publicly slated him. He's denied knowledge of the other players who've been brought in. Sold on Anelka and Alex without getting in decent cover. He makes very odd team selections. I think he is very naive with regards to the media as well.
Saying things like he doesn't care if the players back his project or not won't do you any favours with getting them playing for you.
The guy clearly can work some form of magic as what he achieved at Porto last season was fantastic, however he's bitten off more then he can chew at Chelsea and is drowning in a pool full of sharks. He's a young manager who hasn't experienced losing before. Chelsea made a huge mistake employing him.
He'll more then likely be a success else where if he can save face. Not sure he's going about it right though.

That's true. AVB has won the Portuguese league and the Europa Cup. McClaren won the Dutch League and reached the final of the Europa Cup.

I hate you, this is pretty much spot on and I have nothing to say! But the pressure from Roman, and from his history must make him feel like he needs to make drastic changes, and they just havent paid off.
Give him the time and he will pull it off. But he need to get rid of the divas, and bring in youth.
Josh McEachern needs a proper chance
So then the assistant manager Terry Connor has now been given the Wolves job after a farcical two weeks of nonsense. Begs the question: What was the point in sacking McCarthy if all you are going to do is replace him with his assistant? Typical Wolves, could not run a piss up in a brewery

Thought Suzi Perry might have been given it as she quit the gadget show yesterday bet she could have done a better job haha
Suzi Perry is a Wolves supporter
Dave Jones would be my choice.
Morgan and Moxey can say what they like. In my view the club has been made a laughing stock and an embarrassment to football. The whole way in which the club has been run during the last 8 months is just ridiculous and the whole sorry mess has reached a typically farcical conclusion. Relegation is a certainty and many years stuck in the wilderness beckon once again
