I know very little about this player, but if your information is correct why are Barcelona selling him - and not for much money either? I understand that Barcelona only named him in their B squad for this season.
Providing he stays fit van Persie should score a shitload of goals. I think Kagawa is going to prove to be a very shrewd signing and while Nick Powell is untested at this level, I think he will become an exciting and talented prospect to follow. I do agree though that Utd have needed a quality Central Midfielder for a couple of seasons and hopefully Cleverley will stay fit and fill that gap this season.
Once again Daniel Levy's done it, all this time he wanted 40 million pounds for modric and now his pretty much gonna go for 23 million pounds plus over time 3.9 million pounds in add on's. So his pretty much wasted all this time knowing he wasn't gonna get the amount he wanted, he said modric won't go till he finds a replacement(unless he pulls a rabbit of his hat) well his left it a bit late and with only one recognised striker Defoe. This is the same man that wanted Spurs to get into the champions league don't make me laugh, i want Levy out of that club.

I asked the same question when i first heard we were interested in him. From what i've read, Guardiola had big plans for Tello and introduced him into the first team when Villa got injured. He played 15 times last season. Their new manager Vilanova has supposedly told him he won't be a starter this season. We're talking about the best team in the world. A 21 yo kid with his talent needs to play football. I don't know whether he's been told to go out on loan or they're selling him. I've even read they could sell him with a buy back clause!
Only seen a few short clips of him and read a few bits and pieces but he looks and sounds exciting.

Tribalfootball were reporting Tello had decided to stay at Barca but they have since removed the story.
Rodgers hopes to have a couple in,in the next couple days.

Top 7
1. Man United - The signing of Van Persie has changed my mind, plus Kagawa could be one of the signings of the season
2. Chelsea - Strong squad, a strong manager, but are short in the striker department
3. Man City - Also have a strong squad, but I'm wondering will their new formation work. Plus I think they will concentrate more on the Champions League
4. Arsenal - Still have a good team despite Van Persie's departure. Santi Cazorla will be a huge boost to them
5. Liverpool - I expect them to improve with Rodgers in charge. If they manage to sign Tello and Sahin, then I expect them to be closer to the Champions League places than I thought originally
6. Newcastle - I don't want to jinx it and think we will finish higher than that. We have kept all our best players and I expect 2 or 3 more to come in. My main concern is that I'm wondering if Pardew has a formation in mind to suit the team and not just certain players. Plus we might have success in the cup competitions
7. Tottenham - Villas Boas doesn't have a chairman or certain players that will undermine him as a manager, so he can go about his business as normal like at Porto. Good defence, good midfield, but really short in the striker department and if they don't solve it then 7th place is likely. I expect them to be more successful in the cup competitions
Relegation
18. Southampton - They look at bit short and flaky in defence, but I think they will be like Blackpool and be exciting to watch. But they will concede too many goals, which will cost them
19. Reading - They look like they have the same problems as QPR did at the start of last season in having a Championship defence, but I'm aware they kept a lot of clean sheets last season, although they have the resources to change it. If they strengthen the defence then I think they might just survive. On the plus side they have made good signings in Guthrie and Pogrebnyak
20. Wigan - This time they will get relegated, but if the formation they used towards the end of last season works, then I could be surprised
I really hope though its West Ham that get relegated, I hate Sam Allardyce. If not West Ham, I hope Sunderland go down
Surprise package - Swansea. They surprised at few last season and some are expecting them to be relegated this time after Rodgers left. But they have a clever manager in Michael Laudrup, who plays attractive football and knows how to work under a tight budget
Top goal scorer - Aguero
Signing of the season - Santi Cazorla
First manager to be sacked - Brian McDermott (Althought I hope its Sam Allardyce)
FA cup winners - Arsenal
League cup winners - Aston Villa
Finally the predictions that are not so important
Just for the sake of it, I predict Joey Barton to beat up a few people in a night club and wind up in jail.
I also predict Joey Barton will declare himself better than Messi
Mark Hughes will send Martin Jol to hospital for trying to hug him
Jaime Redknapp will continue to enthral us with his in depth analysis and declare how much he really loves Balotelli
Harry Redknapp will stick his nose at every opportunity in Tottenham's business
Howard Webb will give Liverpool at penalty against Man United at Old Trafford
Sam Allardyce's West Ham will surprise everyone by managing to pass the ball 3 times on the ground
Sir Alex Ferguson will say that all officials are against Man United
Rooney enters Celebrity Who Wants To Be A Millionaire and wins 1 million
The Match of the Day Pundits will no longer state the obvious and say something bad about Man United, while Alan Hansen continues to think pace and power are the most important attributes of a player
If joey Barton thinks he's better than Messi Dan, I wonder if Barton thinks he's better than Ronaldo?
Top goal scorer - Kagawa
Signing of the season - whoever signs Joey Barton!!!
First manager to be sacked - Sam Allardyce
or Steve Kean (Although I hope its Martin Jol or AVB)
FA cup winners - Liverpool
League cup winners - Portsmouth
Championship Winners - Hull City
