let's not get to far ahead of ourselves malicious it's not done yet! nearly done though. i was watchin' the game last night and how depressed did gerrard look talkin' about united almost takin' over liverstool in the league titles amassed ? you have to feel for him though, being the captain of the once proud and respected club at the time united take over, he's either depressed about that or he's worried about what few medals he has left being robbed why he's down in london
. maybe if he ask's nicely owen might let him play with his league title medal sometime.
much love lol
Thanks for that nice post Malicious Fan.
Like we didn't get reminded enough on Sunday.
It's painful to watch united take our league title record away. They'll win at the weekend and the record will be theirs for now. They deserve it.They've been brilliant over the last 15 years.
We're on our way back though. We want the record back.Being a red i'm confident we'll get it back soon.
Give King Kenny the job and let's get it done.
Congrats to Manchester City on qualifying for the Champions League (albeit most probably the qualifying round). I know they've had huge financial help to get there, but their supporters deserve it for all the crap they've been through during the past thirty-odd years.
Coincidentally, I'm watching Paige Green, a Manchester girl, right now wearing light blue

good to see ya back on this thread. looking at next season already and the top 4 i think fans of other teams can deffo see the scousers back in there, especially how they have been doing after xmas. i can see man utd still being in the top 4, and i think chelsea will spend and man city as well, not only cos they have just qualified
for the champs league, cos they would have spent anyway. like i have already said i think liverpool will also be in there, so i think the team what will drop out of the top 4 will be arsenal. i just dont know if wenger will go out and spend and if he doesnt, then in my opinion they will be left behind, which is a shame cos i love the arsenal style of football.
Cheers mate.Next season could be awesome.
Most clubs are surely gonna spend some money in the summer. If Wenger doesn't spend he's crazy for me.He's got the makings of a brilliant side there. All it needs is a bit of steel and a world class Keeper and they'd be hard to beat.
We're gonna strengthen in the summer as will City no doubt. Not sure what direction Chelsea will go in with Ancelotti and stuff but you'd think they'd be looking at freshening things up.Harry will be looking to add 2 or 3 down at Spurs.Don't know how healthy Manchester United are in terms of spending big but you'd expect them to add a few aswell.
Another exciting season ahead i think.
i think spurs will lose players, maybe van der vaart and bale cos no champs league for them. i dont think harry will be able to keep them. where as liverpool are on the up, i can see some players wanting to join them. i cant see spurs anywhere near the top 4 next season. i still think the 4 will be chelsea, liverpool, man city and man utd. UNLESS wenger spends then who knows, like you have said they have some cracking players and need that bit of steel, and a world class keeper. talking of world class keepers, i think spurs need one and man utd are going to be losing one as well.
Think Bale and VDV will stay at Spurs mate. Can't see them moving.Where u think they'll go?Spurs are a good club, with a top manager in a great location. They're gonna be up there in the top half dozen again next season. You never know though?
i think bale has got a taste for champs league football now, and i think he could go abroad, but theres also the possibility that he might join one of the 2 moneybags [city or chelsea] who look like they will be challenging the top 4 again next season, where as spurs for the past few months just couldnt cope with playing in europe and then coming back to the premier league, although they did pretty well in europe. i think bale wants guaranteed champs league every season and i dont think spurs can give him that. another spurs player as well who might leave im thinking is modric, cos there sounds like there is loads of clubs after him.
Today marks the 26th anniversary of Bradford City's fire disaster at Valley Parade where 56 people died. My thoughts are with the familes of the bereaved.
Why would Gareth Bale leave Tottenham just because they haven't got into the European Cup??? Pepe Reina & Steven Gerrard are still at Liverpool & next season will be another season out of the competition yet new contracts are being signed left right & centre.
Too many people believe too much shit thats printed in the papers, i.e. Jeremy Clarkson having his way with Jemima Khan, do me a favour.
Tottenham are 1 or 2 players off being a side capable of challenging for a top 4 finish every season, if not competing in the title race for at least the first half of the season & with only the league to concentrate on next season they'll be looking to
add to their squad
not deplete it, their style of play attack wise isn't that different to Arsenal interms of result so they'll be confident of fighting for a top 4 place next season & quite possibly at the expense of their north London pals
Yep folks that 2 of 3 back home
