just watched tonights champs league game and noticed that fergie played not his strongest side. no vidic, ferdinand, giggs, rooney, evra and fletcher came on late in the second half and no hernandez either. so does this mean he will face a fine from uefa for fielding a weaken team in a champions league semi final? i know managers sometimes get into trouble for fielding weaken teams in english competitions so just wondered if he might be in trouble for fielding a weakened team tonight.
Not too sure about that though you cant blame him for taking the risk
Should be a good final I dont follow either team but have great respect for both
I hope Man United stuff those barcelona cheats at wembley

i understand why he did it especially with the chelsea game this weekend and they had a 2 goal lead from the first leg away from home. but i know when they played crawley in the fa cup fergie played a very weakened team and crawley could have got something from that game. alot of people were moaning that he played a weakened team and it wasnt fair on crawley whos fans might never get to visit old trafford again, so why didnt they get a chance to see man utds star players. schalke fans might never get to visit old trafford again so whats the difference? i find it amazing that they rested alot of their first team players in a champs league semi final against a german team and still won the game 4-1 after this team put 7 past the defending champions. however i cant make a case for man utd against barca in the final.
Man Utd's decision to play a non full strength team has turned out to be a brilliant management call.
Key players have been rested for the run in.
Reserves have been given playing time.
No key players will be banned for the final.
More squad players will be eligable for medals.
So it was a win, win situation..
Nah the weakened team rule is a Premier League rule only
Bit of a boring CL we've had this season with every tie since the QFs being virtually decided in the 1st leg
Even the final Barca are seen as strong favourites (Altough I don't think it's gonna be as one-sided as some peeps seem to think
Barca 1-3 Man Utd *
*Early prediction
Am hoping Chelsea will whoop there arse on Sunday and go on 2 win d Premier Barca are gunna batter them fact.... God for all of us who cant stand United/fergie this is great
With the final of the Champions League coming soon.
Get ready for the early shots coming from Sir Alex..
He'll be worried about the ref being biased, and he'll comlain that the Barca players will be diving and then trying to get the Utd players sent off.
the barca players diving will be true thou wont it?
man utd can release the "rooney elbow" which powers include not getting booked or sent off.
