bet you this hodgson thing has to do with cash. Isnt Hodhson out of contract with West Brom can bet Spurs have prob asked for some stupid amount in compensation or Harry has asked for more than cappello was getting
I'm not so sure to be honest. Hodgson is out of contract at WBA, that is correct, but I think the appointment of Hodgson will be long term. I'd expect at least a 3 year deal personally.
Quote:"At their peak while managed by Hodgson, Switzerland were rated the third best international side in the world, according to the FIFA World Rankings"
Whats this about the football league show moving to sky, I hope they put on sky 1, because I don't have sky sports. Plus sky might be smarter to put it on an earlier time to attract more viewers
Hodgson is definitely the right for the England job, he has far more experience than Redknapp and I think he is more clever tactically. I'm wondering though, because Hodgson's contract expires at the end of the summer, we're the FA put off by the amount of compensation they would have to pay for Redknapp

BBC budget cutting, was announced quite a while ago now.
Fucking geniuses cutting a programme that is quite handy for millions of viewers yet they keep the likes of Hansen, Shearer and that other wrinkly fucker employed talking shite, stating the obvious and wanking over Scumchester. As well as carrying on funding all the mind numbing shit like soaps etc.

Its a disgrace Hansen gets paid for each Match of the Day programme he appears on, all he does is repeat himself, Shearer just says everything is fantastic and Lawro is away with fairies
Originally the BBC announced they were giving up the 10 live Championship games and the live Carling Cup semis and final but no deal had been done for the highlights.
Some sources claim that the Football League even offered the Beeb the highlights contract for nothing, so as to keep it on terrestrial, but the costs involved in filming, editing and voicing 36 games were seen as prohibitive.
Woy cant wait to start working with Wooney
(someone was gonna say it sooner or later)

I'd love to see ESPN move to Freeview to compensate for the cost cutting at BBC, yet I'm amazed they are cuttting sports coverage yet are sending more people to the Olympics than the whole GB team itself!!
I think MOTD should use Gabby more as anchor - she's easier on the eye and much prefer Robbie Savage, Dion Dublin, and Jason Roberts
over Shearer, Lawro and Hansen Now
that should spark a debate!!

Some paper pundits were saying that England should go to the euros with hodgson and 'Psycho' (Stuart Pearce) at the helm. I like Hodgson's personality he's very honest and open but tactically, I don't think he's the right choice some of his tactics aren't those that can carry Engfland forward past the quarter Final/Semi finals. Mind you the longer the FA leave the appointment, whoever does get the job will have a hell of a rush job to get the squad named, right?
