Using culture clashes as an excuse is ridiculous, he's been living here long enough to know that that kind of language will get him in trouble here, pleading ignorance is silly.
To be honest groundnpound, since he is your player, you will defend him to death, and that's not a dig at you at all, but his excuse his stupid. The world knows that using such terms are unacceptable. Add to that, you have done far more research on the matter, so makes me think I need to do some of my own!
Even if he wanted to talk to him in a friendly manner, especially in a language Evra isn't going to understand, any word that sounds similar to negro, nigger etc will stand out to Evra, and of course he will report it. Suarez should have used common sense.
But as mitchell has said, it's not like he has killed anyone etc, so I'll draw a line under it

Both of his feet left the ground so it must have been a foul, regardless of what angle you view it from.
both your feet leave the ground when you jump for a header. while running both your feet leave the ground. the fact that his feet left the ground does not make it a foul. it's was a fair challenge imho! if this is the way football is going, then i fear for the future!

1. Why did the FA let Evra see video footage before he gave them his final statement but refused Suarez request to see it?
2. Was David Gill involved in this case what so ever, I find it hard to believe he wasn’t.
3. Why did the Commission accept the request of the FA to reject parts of Hernandez witness statement, opinion or not surely a fellow South American can talk about his own cultures.
4. How did the FA find Evra credible and constant when he changed his accusations and the amounts of time he claimed to be called these words on a number of different occasions?
5. How did the FA find that calling someone by the country of origin in an angry manor ‘not offensive’ when they have banned fans for aggressively calling a player “a French t**t” in the past.
6. Why the FA expected Suarez to remember word for word a conversation he had with Evra a month previous.
the answer to all of them is......
THE FA DO NOT WANT TO BE SEEN TO BE RACIST
the best text of the year.....From Glen from Yorkshire, via text: "Michael Owen should take a leaf out of Scholes and Henry's book and stop tweeting and try and get back in the Man Utd first team."
yellow card plus 10minutes, also i liked the idea of any player showing desent to the ref at freekicks then that lose/gains 10yards. also they should stop the clock when the ball is out of play or the game has stopped like in rugby there by no need to for injury/fergie time. so when it reaches 45/90 minutes play continues until the ball is out of play then its half/full time because i hated went a team counter attacks/putting pressure on the opposition and gain a counter or freekick then ref blows for half/full time. iam not saying rugby rules are the answer to sort out football but they do have some good ideas which be implamented into football.

First off people are forgetting that Evra in his evidence admitted he started the confrontation by speaking in Spanish to Suarez. He admitted using the phrase "Concha de tu hermana" which translated into English means "yoiur sister's pussy". But Evra claimed in the Spanish he speaks he only meant "fuckin hell"....The Commission conveniently accepted this explanation as being a cultural difference.
The Commission basically accepted Evra's word over Suarez' word. In the report they conceded there was no evidence but that Evra's testimony was more reliable....the same Evra who falsely accused a Chelsea groundsman of a similar offence in 2008 and who a couple of years before that, made a similar allegation against Steve Finnan before retracting the allegation.
The inconsistancies and holes in the case are shocking and if it had gone to court it would have been thrown out within seconds.
Liverpool didnt appeal because they were basically warned not to as mitchell has already said. Suarez will come back from the ban but will always have that stain on his character and will have to deal with the fallout for a very long time.
