After watching half of city v newcastle tonight I am putting newcastle as 1 of the 3 teams to be relegated, non of the players apart from Ben Arfa and Collocini look like they can be bothered, Cisse looks lost aswell.

Yay I'm not alone in thinking we are going down anymore
If you are spending less than Crystal Palace then you are in trouble, which we are.
Club needs changes. Mainly though a new owner and manager.
Pardew: "We were in the game and threatening a goal up until the sending off?"
was he watching the same game?
I can only see problems with the Newcastle set up. The odds are really stacking up against Pardew - he's in a circus, having to report to 'Joke' Kinnear - then Taylor loses his marbles and delivers a clothesline that WWE would be proud of. Then we hear that Cabaye was 'not in the right frame of mind to play' so is sent back home after travelling across the country to Manchester.
Then the fans chanting "spend some f*****g money" was beautifully captured on Radio 5 Live's broadcast tonight. Seems to have become one of the early favourite chants.... for some clubs.

Listening to the game on 5Live and hearing Pardew's comments after it, I wonder if he sounds like a man condemned already!

Classic Pardew.
He's nuts and doesn't know what he is doing.
Ashley is the major problem holding this club back, but Pardew is not good enough to manage at this level and plays shit football.

We're going down. I've been saying it since Kinnear got appointed. Pardew is a problem too because he is tactically inept, plays players out of position, can't organise a defence, plays out of form players like Gutierrez and Tiote and plays awful football.

Maybe he needs to be sent a manual (like a car manual that you usually buy) on football management!! I wonder if one exists?
I've never rated Pardew as a Premiership manager. The guy has always struggled at this level over the course of a season and is clearly out of his depth. That said I think most managers would struggle with an owner who doesn't seem to care and a director of football who for all intents and purposes is probably waiting in the wings to take over. The management certainly seems a sorry shambles, one that the passionate geordie fans do not deserve.
For me, its definitely Ashley who's the main problem. Its a shame for their supporters, that just when things seemed to be getting back on track, he brings in this clown of a DOF who can't even pronounce the names of the players or staff right. The bloke's an absolute joke. Yes Pardew's had some trouble in the premier league, but look at what he's having to put up with. This set up is likely to put off any future replacement too, if Pardew does go.
Just annoys me the amount of businessmen who while remain reasonably successful in their own right, make total cock ups of running a football club. Ashley obviously was not the first, is not alone in this area and won't be the last either.
