Get ready for the early shots coming from Sir Alex..
He'll be worried about the ref being biased, and he'll comlain that the Barca players will be diving and then trying to get the Utd players sent off.
And why not? It's all part of the build-up. Besides, Jose Mourinho was pretty much spot-on with most of what he said last week after the first leg. Barcelona's players DO roll around in an exaggerated manner and wave imaginary cards at the referee.
The UNICEF angle was a new one on me, but nontheless, it's a good alternative point of view; do we actually KNOW that UEFA and FIFA are not in some sort of cahoots where they wish to be seen to be supporting the world's leading children's charity? Corruption in high-level sport does exist, I am led to believe!
I don't doubt that Pep Guardiola will also attempt mind games of his own by siting United's history of playing open, expansive football in the hope that they play into Barcelona's hands cometh the Final.
Just been announced that QPR will not be deducted points and so go to the premiership as champions of the championship.
I take this opportunity to congratulate them on this acheivement and while I'm at it congratulate Norwich as well.
good to see football and not politics did the talking although would have loved it if warnock had got shafted but not the qpr fans though. just hopefully rovers can take 3 points today cos i dont want to be wanting united to be beating blackpool lol
mind you if we cant beat west ham or wolves in the next 3 games we dont deserve to stay up
I agree with HannahsPet to an extent. We play the tescos tomorrow, this is a massive game irrelevant of league positions. Honestly, i'd take a point. Next week the Mackems away, would love a point there.
And if we can't beat Blackburn at home last match of the season, then we don't deserve to stay up.
