aahhh couldnt you care less if it was a penalty or not gaz? i couldnt care less if you jumped off the humber bridge!
here's my view
fabregas fell over spearing's leg and made the most of it so he's a massive cheat and should of got a red card for simulation
, eboue might aswell of just dropped kick lucas in the the back it would of hurt less, i'm suprised lucas got up after that challenge or at the very least he should of been stretchered off, verdict..........spot on penalty
marriner = prem's finest ref as of yesterday
spearing + roland the........... england's future right there
i am of course taking the piss
and after what you did yesterday im going to leave this alone

(18-04-2011 12:51 )malicious fan Wrote: [ -> ]btw forgot to mention, is there any1 out there who actually thought the liverpool penalty was a penalty? if your a liverpool fan or an arsenal fan can you try and give an honest answer. im sure the fonz and lindor will say it was a penalty as well. liverpool never layed down either like im sure some mancs thought they might.
i thought the fabregas one was a definite penalty. Fabregas got his right leg swiped by the Liverpool defender on the turn. Ref was less than 10 yards away. Definite penalty. That was unquestionable.
The Lucas one. While I can understand why the referee gave it, I felt Lucas did make the most of the contact from Eboue by going down softly. So I think the ref bought that one. The challenge that Eboue did on Lucas is a free kick outside the box pretty much everytime. But those kind of challenges (like Eboue's on Lucas) in the penalty area are 50/50 in terms of whether the ref will give a penalty or not.
But what can I say.... Eboue didn't need to do it and Lucas went down as soon as he felt the contact and the ref bought it. Any arsenal player in Lucas's situation would have done the same. So I can hardly blame Lucas for going down under the challenge. The real blame has to be with Eboue. Damn it Eboue!!!! Why????? Lucas was going nowhere!!! I think Eboue just cost us the title
Eboue's foul on Lucas was stupid and a definate stonewall penalty. I'm undecided about the Spearing foul on Fabregas - need to have another look at that. The handbags between Wenger and Dalglish at the end was entertaining though!

it was caught on camera so has there been anything on the news wether the fa are going to do anything about it or not? im sure alot of people will say its totally different to rooney and what crouch did last week but my young un heard what he said. i supose it wasnt directly at the camera was it so im guessing it will be ok! i think the fa have got more things to worry about than some1 swearing, like the man utd dressing room wall getting a good booting!
Liverpool getting a result against Arsenal didnt hand Man Utd the title. Let's not forget that we also beat Man Utd a few weeks ago so in terms of both of those games Arsenal gained a point on Utd.
This is how i see it....Arsenal not being able to score a single goal at home against Sunderland & Blackburn cost them the title. Being 2-0 up at home to Spurs and losing 3-2 & being 4-0 up at half-time at Newcastle and ending up drawing 4-4 cost them the title. There's no doubt they play the most attractive football in the Premier League. Unfortunately they lack the ability to kill a game off, they lack the ability to really open up a well drilled defence that keeps it's discipline, they have a tendancy to implode defensively when they come under pressure & they lack leadership on the field of play when things get tough. I'd have loved to see Arsenal win the title but i honestly think their chance passed weeks ago.
I dont know if the Gunners fans would agree with me but maybe it's time for a few changes in the playing staff. Instead of the little fellas with technical ability, is it not time for a couple of big, strong and direct players who'll put the foot in when things get tough on the field??
