Wilshire will more then likely be the man who he decides to build the team around. Ramsey is a great prospect too. But I don't see Ramsey replacing Nasri as he has no width. Ramsey is more a central mid', Nasri offered width to Arsenal.

i agree but he'll build around the both of them. ramsey was exceptional against utd at the end of the last season. if he can keep that form up then it's not all doom and gloom.
as far as width goes, Juan Mata would fill that gap nicely!
I think Scott Parker would be a good signing for Arsenal just now.I know he doesn't fit Wengers profile as he's 30 but he's the kind of hard working, tough midfielder that could bring out the best in the younger more creative lads around him.He wouldn't break the bank either coming from the Championship.
Juan Mata should be an Arsenal player already though. Wenger just dithers these days in the transfer market. He always finds a reason for not spending the money, over inflated prices, or he has faith with such players. He needs to grow a pair and go sign some new fresh players with a bit of experience and some class, instead of just cheap players with bags of potential.
I agree with you again about Ramsey though, he will be a different class if he keeps that form up and stays injury free.
I wonder if Wesley Sneijder's crossed Wenger's mind?Buy him with the Fabregas money.

Superb footballer with good feet and great passing abilities, unfortunately he isn't French, he isn't 16, and he is over £1,000,000

my mum said something to me that i laughed at but it wasn't as mad as it sounded
"son why don't we buy joey barton?"
she went on "give him a pay as you play contract. he'll realise that this is a chance in a million for him and if anyone can tame him then arsene wenger can".
my reply was something along the lines of you can't tame wild animals but she said "what's there to loose?"
i have visions of him training, forgetting he's an arsenal player and going on a rampage!
Barton's always gonna have that wild streak in him mate. He's a quality player though for me and could be a good bit of business for someone who takes a gamble on him.
Is he a free transfer?
i just checked, he's on a free and stoke are interested! if they weren't physical enough!
I've said for a while that getting rid of Cesc might turn out to be a blessing in disguise for Arsenal, even though he's an incredible footie player, not to mention getting £35m-£40m would surely force Wenger's hand in the transfer market. Could get 2-3 really decent players with that.
That said, losing both Fabregas and Nasri...ouch
And the problem with getting Mata is he would cost a fortune, they could've got for for about £20m a few weeks ago, but the buy-out clause in his contract expired. So you would think Valencia will hold out for the big bucks. Shame though cos he would be the perfect replacement.
