No disrespect rocksavior but i dont think there are many managers who'd be willing to work under the venkys, maybe someone like curbishley or O'driscoll, the likes of Di Matteo I think deserve a chance at one of the bigger clubs around europe, afterall he did win the champions league and FA cup last season, I could see him at the likes of inter or Roma or Lazio, somewhere like that
Also hannahs pet i disagree I think newcastle are one of the top 10 teams in the uk easily. The 4 most supported teams are Man United Liverpool Chelsea Arsenal then youd have the likes of spurs, man city, Newcastle.... Just because a team hasn't won anything for a while doesn't mean they aren't a big club, look at arsenal and liverpool hardly lighting up the table but 2 of the biggest clubs in the world
(28-12-2012 16:38 )Fernandez Esperenda Wrote: [ -> ]I dont think dortmund will sell him seeing as they are through to the knockout stages of the champions league, also if he did move he wouldnt be able to play for united in that competition as he'd be cup tied, then in the leage united have rooney, rvp, hernandez, welbeck.. The whole story makes no sense to me, maybe in the summer, but not now
The Bild Story is that United may have paid £18 million for him now or will do soon but it will be the summer window when he arrives on a £100k a week contract and not before then. It could just end up being rumours but these have persisted on Lewandoski and United for over 12 months now.
if u read it again i said you were in the top 10 and yeah you have a big following
liverpool won the champions league in the last 10 years Arsenal have reached final of champions league and always in the last 16 of the champions league so they have the cup pedigree

Think Williamson is a decent defender and was last season especially when Taylor was out, Rodwell can't really judge due to persistent injuries and inexperience for big games, I would put Scott Sinclair in there, they gave him start against us and jenkinson just brushed him off like he was nothing
Williamson is ok, it was a toss between him and Danny Simpson. Besides I picking players on their performances this season and not on reputation.
I should have picked Scott Sinclair actually. He's an average player and I don't see why Man City bought him in the first place.
Rock saviour think the only reason why they have sacked berg at this time and shebby been saying we are going to take our time finding a new manager again is so they dont have to put hands in there pockets this window.
dont think di matteo would come sure he got a big payoff from abramovich and why would you attempt to work with the venkys and ruin any chances of ever getting a bigger job im sure in the next few months will be a few premiership jobs coming along so why would you risk it .

Not sure if this is directed at me or Fernandez, but anyway I read it again and deleted my post.
It does beg the question what are the top 10 biggest clubs in the UK?
A number of things would have to be taken into account such as trophies and fans to figure what clubs would make it into the top 10 biggest clubs in the UK.
Bit of a mess but its off wikipedia, top 10 most successful teams
1 Liverpool 18 7 8 5 3 0 41 2012 LC [17]
2 Manchester United 19 11 4 3 1 2 40 2011 PL [18]
3 Arsenal 13 10 2 0 1 0 26 2005 FAC [19]
4 Aston Villa 7 7 5 1 0 0 20 1996 LC [20]
5 Chelsea 4 7 4 1 2 0 18 2012 CL [21]
6 Tottenham Hotspur 2 8 4 0 3 0 17 2008 LC [22]
7 Everton 9 5 0 0 1 0 15 1995 FAC [23]
8 Newcastle United 4 6 0 0 1 0 11 1969 FC [24]
8 Manchester City 3 5 2 0 1 0 11 2012 PL [25]
10 Blackburn Rovers 3 6 1 0 0 0 10 2002 LC [26]
I would say thats about right although we are the only provincial club to ever win the premiership ie only club from outside either london or manchester although we dont have the fan base mind u its a bit difficult seeing we have 8 teams either in the premier league or championship within an hours drive of where i am. it was 9 but preston are in league 1
Forest could also be in the list as they have 2 european cups to there name
