I can't even begin to guess how many years it will take for them to legitimately just break even.
I know mate it is getting really out of hand now, the rest of the league 1 are saying they want monaco to pay them all 200mil each to even out the fact they pay no tax where as every other team do. Something needs to be done. Here is the owner http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dmitry_Rybolovlev
They are basically saying to compete in ligue 1 they have to move their headquarters to France so they can pay tax or contribute 200m over 5 years or something, of course they dispute this now, apparently the owner originally wanted to spend the money getting the best young players but then he saw the demand for top quality players which made him alter plans

My understanding was that Rybolovlev at first wanted to buy all the best players from the French ligue 1. When he met opposition, quite naturally from the other clubs he then decided on his current course of action as an act of retribution! It really doesn't bode well when there are such powerful and petulant people running football clubs.
I also heard he was going to replace Ranieri with Mancini after City had sacked him, but he changed his mind and has decided that Ranieri stays...well until he loses a game
I can't say I would be too bothered if we get a decent amount for him. He has failed to shine on a consistent basis and we have Zaha now who looks an exciting prospect.

Nani shouldn't be the winger that's let go by Man United. He's inconsistent, but on his day he's a very good player. Ashley Young is the winger Man United should let go as I don't think he's good enough to play for Man United.

This article argues the opposite and shows that statistically Ashley Young is better than Nani.

I would agree that Young has a better ratio of good-poor games than Nani. He is also less selfish and more likely to pass to better placed team mates. Nani can be world class at times but he can also frustrate the hell out of the team. I'd be happy for him to stay but we can live without him.
Hodgson says he ain't got a lot of strikers to choose from, in some ways that can be true but come on why not give Gary hooper a chance? If boothroyd, Kevin Davies can get at least one cap why can't hooper?
