I was glued to that Barcelona - Chelsea match tonight. What a game - goals, sending off, missed penalty - the ten men prevail!
That Chelsea bus has taken a battering over the two legs... may need new windows.
Seriously though, the Blues had a gameplan to stop the mighty Barca and it worked. I look forward to the final in Munich - should be a cracker against (we think) Real Madrid.
Bayern wilĺ have plenty to say about that. They will be hell bent on reaching the final at their home stadium.
Well done Chelsea, a brilliant defensive performance particularly with 10 men in the second half. I hate when people criticise Chelsea for the way they played against Barcelona over the two legs from people writing comments on newspapers and internet sites. Chelsea played the right way against Barcelona, you can't play open football against Barcelona they will hammer you otherwise, so a super performance from Chelsea. I dread if Chelsea win, but just to be nice I will say good luck to Chelsea and I also think Di Matteo should get the Chelsea job, he deserves a chance at it
well done Chelsea, but i wish Drogba was suspended for the final because he is a disgrace and doesn't deserve it. i'm glad Barca won't retain the CL but i'm not sure i want Chelsea to win it.
not bad for the guy who was fired as the manager of West Brom, but Di Matteo has an easier job because he only has to worry about this season. AVB had to build for the future.
well done Bolton as well. it will be interesting to see what happens with Villa if Bolton, Wigan and QPR continue to pick up points
football. bloody hell!
Chelsea will be missing for the final.
Terry suspended and Ivanovic, Ramires and Raul Meireles also ruled out after being booked in the second leg.
Cahill and David Luis will need to get fit for the final.
Sounded like Gary Neville give birth when Torres scored..............
This lad Pedro Pinto from CNN on twitter annoys me saying Chelsea did not deserve to go through, he doesn't even give credit for their great defending, I would love to log on to twitter and give him a peace of my mind, but I hate social networking sites, so I will not bother
Well well well.... I have to take it all back! Great game plan by John Terry in the end to get himself sent off so the Chelsea players pull together
In all seriousness he must be gutted to be missing the final, but nothing more then he deserves for being a complete moron! I do think him getting sent off meant Chelsea had to play so compact Barca couldn't break them. Had he stayed on Chelsea might have tried to break, who knows, but either way fair play to them. They showed discipline and grit with 10 men and the "Scoregasm" was funny as fuck!!
Playing a slight Devils Advocate here, but I think every team in the world would love a Drogba in their team. Whether or not people like him or not, he gives 100% to the shirt when it is needed and he is willing to jeopardize his reputation by acting like a fairy to buy time. He must know people slate him and every time he falls to the floor he knows it's another line to give pundits, journalists and fans of football, but despite all that he is willing to take one for the team and damage his reputation for the sake of the club he is playing for.
People might not agree with it, but in a game full of crooks, cheats and scandal, what Drogba does upon impact is no worse then players who hack down an opposing player on the break to hold back play, to hurl abuse at ref's or claim for a corner when they KNOW it came off them last, or handball on the line to prevent a goal. It is taking one for the team so to speak, and as much as people don't like it, he's the envy of every side that doesn't have a Drogba.

People forget there is an art to defending. Watching classy defensive displays might not put bums on seats, but it is nothing short of majestical at times.
As someone who played in defence as a lad, I enjoy watching the art of defence. Football isn't all about midfield maestros and 20 goals a season strikers, it is about a strong back 4 plus a 'keeper who'll all throw their bodies on the line to defend their goal.
I feel sorry for Ivanovic he was so happy after the match before at an interview, a sky sports reporter told him that he's going to miss the final, Ivanovic looked gutted when he heard the news
