Oi were not that fucking bad!!!
MK Dons are a team with pedigree. In a previous life they were Wimbledon who beat Liverpool in the FA Cup final.
Interesting how someone from Scotland and a Brazilian detest Manchester United so much yet usually the haters say all our fans are in every foreign corner but Manchester.
i fucking hate the mk plastics but that result made me laugh
It's not score line or the manner of the defeat that I think is the problem.
We all know that the big sides won't put out a full strength against teams from a lower division. (I guess we'll be the exception tonight against Burton). But the way that teams of Arsenal, Man U, Chelsea, Liverpool have showed a complete lack of respect to teams in the lower divisions in this competition is beginning to devalue it.
I do still congratulate MK Dons for their display last night but something does need to be done about the big clubs attitude to the rest of the league. Let's face it, Man Utd Haven't got CL football this season, and now they are down to 1 cup competition and the league and I do wonder if Van Gaal will even survive to the January transfer window!!
After spending £59m on di Maria even that to me now is likely to be a rather expensive way of even solving the problems Man U now have.
After the game on 5 live one fan pointed out that Man used to buy young talent and develop them. does that policy really exist any more at Man U?

They can't afford the time it would take. The rot set in several years ago at United when the opportunity for us to strengthen the squad was not taken. Market forces dictate that we now have to spend big to bring in quality and do it in the space of one or two seasons (Many fans will of course be expecting the squad to go from shite to excellent in one or two games). No excuse for fielding a weakened team though but the big teams look at these lesser cups as opportunities for younger players to gain experience. They are still expected to win though but credit to MK Dons in this case.
I just hope I made a fair comment bytor and you didn't se it as me having a go...But surely they had several experienced players on the pitch that should have been able to show the rest of the team the way forward.
sorry but this wasnt a weakend youth team think i heard the stat that there was over 800 Man united appearances between that lot including a load of internationals
