The ugly side of football that was no way a second bookable offence the guy made a meal of rolled over like a hollywood action star has a look at the ref then rolls over some more and then grabs his knee wtf.
I just don't know anymore about Newcastle.
That was our worst performance not just this season, but during the Pardew era as a whole.
I'm losing my confidence as a Newcastle fan and I'm losing my faith that Pardew and this group of players can turn it around.
Full credit to Brighton because they outpassed us, outclassed us and just showed more imagination then us today.
Just going back to our Premier League form, I found out that this season we are worse off points wise than the season we got relegated. The similarities as well in Newcastle's current situation and West Ham's when Pardew managed them are also worrying from a Newcastle point of view.
I just don't feel confident in our current situation that Pardew and the players can turn it around. If we lose our next two games against Norwich and Reading then expect us to get relegated.
Also the possibility of Pardew getting sacked isn't out of the question regardless of the 8 year contract because I read in The Guardian recently Pardew would only receive 1 years salary if he gets sacked by Ashley.
your right dan he would only get paid 1 year if they were to sack him, question is, if they did who would they bring in? there isn't really anybody, when Ben Arfas back fit you need to get him back on the wing and put cisse back in the middle
Who thinks man ure scum are still gonna win this

Well I have three choices for replacements if Pardew gets sacked by Ashley. These are just off the top of my head, but here I go.
1. Walter Smith. I'm not sure if he's still in the management business, but if he is, he would be a decent short term replacement. He would organize us better and we would stop leaking so many silly goals.
2. Alan Curbishley. I know he has been out of the game for a while, but he's still a decent manager. Like Walter Smith, I think he would fix up our leaky defence and make us hard to beat. He is also a very experienced manager, so thats a good thing.
3. Roberto di Matteo. I'm not sure he's experienced enough to get us out of this tough situation we are currently in, but he's a good manager. I think he can mix up our style of play as well by either making us very fluid and attractive to watch or make us difficult to beat.
Again if Newcastle don't get at least 5 points against Norwich, Reading and Villa in our next 3 games and we only end up with 1 point from those 3 games then I think serious questions will have to be asked about Pardew and Ashley would have to consider sacking him.
Maybe you could bring shearer in again
or Dalglish?!
