I see that Messi's been handed a 21 month sentence for tax fraud.
But under Spanish law anything under a 2 year sentence it's usually suspended.
But I notice that seeing as he's been in Spain since he was 13 years old he can now be clasified as being Spanish.
And as he says that he's not playing for Argentina any more, can he play for Spain?
No he can't play for Spain, if he's already played for Argentina. A player can switch countries before his 21st birthday, but only if he hasn't played any higher than youth level.
had to laugh when Ayr United brought on Jordan Hart in goal and fans starting singing" he's better than Joe
I just saw that Belgium are advertising for a new manager to apply online. I don't like to boast but a few years ago on my FIFA game console I got Partick Thistle promoted to the Scottish premier league, won two back to back Scottish Premiership titles and got them to the semi final of the champions league where we lost on away goals to Barcelona. I than decided to have a new start with WestHam and in 5 years I won three champions league titles and four back to back English premier league titles with them. Surely with those sort of credentials I must be a shoe in for the job?
