The problem with Liverpool is that there midfield is not good enough except Steven Gerrard, who is world class. There is too much weight on Suarez's shoulders to score the goals, maybe Liverpool should buy Llorente or Soldado in the summer to strengthen their attack. For me as a Newcastle fan though, I'm glad we are still 5 points ahead of Liverpool
Just seen this headline on the BBC sport website....
"England stars make omelette"
"Take a look behind the scenes as Scott Parker, Glen Johnson, Rob Green and Theo Walcott compete in the Saturday Kitchen Omelette Challenge."
I'm guessing the term "England Stars" was used loosely in this case
the bbc have an article about whether steve kean have proved the doubters wrong. is it a coindence that since eric black came as his assistant that blackburns form as picked up?
There are reports that Barcelona could make a £35 million bid for David Luiz

If they make a 'Messi + cash' offer then deal...otherwise they can piss off!
Fair play to Mr Ferguson for coming out today to respond to comments made by Patrick Viera about Paul Scholes.
Viera said "For him [Scholes] to come back just shows a little bit of weakness in United, because they had to bring a player back who was 37."
Old red nose responded with my sentiments exactly...
"If you talk about desperation, they played a player the other night who refused to go on the pitch. The manager said he'd never play again and he takes a five-month holiday in Argentina. What is that? Could that come under the description of desperation?"
Too right. Man City could have made a real stand against "player power." However they bottled it, brought Tevez back and after a brief performances are now lording him up to be a hero.
Mancini is lacking a bit of class if you ask me, the phrase "people in glass houses" comes to mind!
i just watched kenny dalglish give an 'interview' on sky sports. he reminds me of gordon strachan minus the funny!
King Kenny cracks me up! Brilliant sense of humour i reckon.
