The FBI are investigating some of the top officials at FIFA.
There are allegations that one guy got £750,000.
If these are proved then we should have a revote for 2022 & the party involved should spend a lot of time behind bars. And it was a bloody silly place to have a football competition.
And Russia 2018 may be at risk
Sturridge started falling before Vidic made contact, its a clear dive. As for the 'excuse' of not wanting to risk injury hence going down.....go sit at home then.
Made contact? Vidic didn't make contact because Sturridge got out of the way, either way it would have been a penalty as Vidic was off the ground coming in from behind in the box, an experienced defender should know that he shouldn't do that, Sturridge was clean past him, anyway I couldn't really care less anymore, Liverpool were comfortable winners and would have won without any 3 of the penalties, then Sturridge should have had another from when he was taken down in the box after the Vdic penalty anyway...
It's not like United haven't had any dodgey penalty decisions go for them in the past 20 years is it? Most of Uniteds success has come from late goals deep into unknown injury time, and they should also dedicate atleast 3 of their league titles to Howard Webb...
And as for Divers there is a shit player called Ashley young who plays at Man U who's whole game is based on diving... and he's even shit at that

They should do it in a Place like Australia who would put on a really good world cup and is a place a lot of people would like to travel too.
How much of these allegations are going to end up at Sepp Blatter's door again (Who will strenously deny that anything illegal happened as usual)? I doubt there is even time to revote for 2022 or for 2018 and I doubt the Aussies would even be in a position to put on tournament at short notice. Though I agree it would be a fantastic place for a tournament hence that it has hosted the Olympics twice & Commonwealth Games to a degree of success.
If they were to move 2022 then I feel it has to go to one of the original bidders or a bid that lost the 2018 bid. I did think at the time that when Qatar won the right to host it in 2022 was even strange because to me it would take a lot of logistic planning with various football leagues that would still be taking place especially in Europe whenever the dates for the tournament were announced. I think it was done in such a way that Blatter didn't care what chaos it caused. And certainly even now it just seems impossible to pull off. And as far as Brazil this summer, is it likely that some games could be played in half-finished stadiums?
The guy who allegedly made the payments to other FIFA members was the same guy who tried to oust Sepp Blatter in 2011.
So we could have had someone more inept than Blapper

Oooooh might be Chance of England hosting 2018 afterall
I think they probably would be more likely to still move it to somewhere that hasn't hosted it before which to me could be China than even give us a sniff of a chance of stepping in. If they moved it there I think there would be less logistical planning involved.
would have to be australia or china because countrys like South Korea and japan have hosted it recently

I have a sneaking feeling that this will be the straw that breaks the camel's back. I know that there was talk some while ago that some countries would move away from FIFA and set up their own tournament and these latest allegation probably would be the perfect ammunition to let them do it. Why should we play in a competition that is so riddled with corruption on the inside? If we were led to believe that FIFA cleaned up it it's voting programme then this has to prove that they did sod all with it. Bet Panorama would be pleased that they exposed FIFA in the first place. Blatter insisted that FIFA had put it's house in order - like f**k they did!!
