saw the interview after the game and quite refreshing to see a manager apologising to a ref after he thought a foul should have been given during the run up to the second goal, after pardew saw a replay after the game he said he apologised to the ref, very refreshing to see, good man!
John terry been banned for 4 Games !
think thats fair as he did use the words although wasnt in the context of racially abusing anton ferdinand is it all over now
He should of least got the same ban as Suarez
No because they couldnt prove he used the word in derogitory manner
I'm confused why Terry is banned seen as how he was cleared by a court of law.
But now that the FA have given him a ban then why isn't it the same ban as what Suarez got.
Was it because one case was worst than the other?
I'm finding it hard to understand
basically they did him for using the words where as the court had to prove he acted racially in saying them
think the suarez thing was because he admitted saying them in a derogatory manner where terry admitted he repeated them after someone accused him of saying them
can see where he is coming from its a local derby whats the attendance figure for loftus road all the noise and screaming and shouting and someone says something you half hear them so u repeat them
i mean if you were in a crowded pub or club and someone accuses u of saying something u shouldnt you would be shocked so might actualy repeat it

If you read the judgement in the Suarez case it explains things very clearly. The FA state that they were entitled to give Suarez a 4 match ban for the offence, but also that they were entitled to increase the ban because of the aggravating factor that Suarez was found to have committed the offence 7 times. John Terry on the other hand was only found to have been guilty 1 time, so obviously couldn't be given the same 8 match ban as Suarez.
Great news today, Alan Pardew has agreed a new 8 year contract with Newcastle.
The only glitch in the contract is what if we have a bad season and Ashley decides to sack Pardew, then we would have to pay lots of money in compensation.
But other than that, its great to have stability at the club, unlike before when we were constantly switching managers
Regarding the John Terry case, the only thing left to wonder is: which members of the FA panel are going to get death threats from angry Chelsea fans? Or are those just reserved for Scandinavian referees?
In terms of the Terry and Suarez cases, it has proved that a black football player can taunt or insult another player and get away without being charged as the FA attempts to show FIFA that it takes racism seriously and therefore ignores the fact that in both these cases there was provocation which although not being an excuse for Terry or Suarez's actions certainly should have been taken into consideration.
