The winter break has already been confirmed. It takes place in February, initially for 3 seasons starting from the 2019/20 season.
its not really a full break is it just playing 5 matches each week instead of the 10 over the fortnight
Anyone else feeling a bit meh about the world cup this time around
I always have hope we will do well, but I always have this thought in n mind we'll at least bugger up one game in the group stages
And tbh i wonder how long it will take before it kicks off between supporters?
One of the upsides of being a Scotland fan is that there is no downside to the World Cup, you don't have to go through the turmoil of being that emotionally connected to a team and so you just get to enjoy it as a feast of football, so yes I am looking forward to it, I just hope we get more Brazil 2014 and not France 2016
Have a bad feeling that the lunatic Russian hooligan element will make headlines more than once during the tournament if Euro 2016 was anything to go by.
Between you me and the dog, trouble will happen, that's a dead cert, then afterwards it'll be a case of why did they hold the tournament in Russia after Bung Gate.
trouble is you can't sue FIFA if you get hurt and it wasn't your fault, can you?

And we've still got Qatar in 2022 top deal with, after this one is over
Given the amount of people that have building the stadiums in Qatar I am really struggling as to whether or not I will watch anything to do with Qatar 2022, even the qualifiers
Mod Edit: I think that it should read... " Given the amount of people that have died building the stadiums, etc"
