Not surprised to see Van Persie go, The destination isn't all that surprising either, But the price now that's a surprise, £24m? Didn't expect him to go for that much.
apparently its £24 million van persie has gone for and could make his man utd debut next monday v everton. think man utd have best group of strikers since they won the treble with solskjaer, yorke, cole and sheringham. means berbatov will be leaving i think and rvp will wear 9 at man u
Rooney, Van Persie, Wellbeck and Hermandez has to be strongest group of strikers in prem
interesting to hear what our resident forum gooner louise kay thinks about this

I say Barcelona might loan him out for 2 years to Liverpool, as they wouldn't want to lose one of there most promising young players. Plus a loan deal would suit both clubs, because Liverpool get more quality in their squad and it gives Barcelona a chance to further develop Tello's talent
Haven't seen this Tello kid play much... Everyone raves about the lad. He looks dynamite on youtube! He's supposed to make Walcott look slow . I've read we're gonna take him permanently for £7m.
Tello is definitely talented but at times makes the simple things difficult,I just hope the possible deal isn't reliant on Agger moving in the other direction after reading quotes attributed to him today.
Regarding Sahin,I was under the impression he fancied a move to Arsenal, but maybe the history between Rodgers & Jose & a quite word from Alonso should seal the deal.

I wouldn't let jump off a high building me. I'd drive him to herathrow airport and hire a plane then take him up to 16,000ft open the door and tell him to jump with no parachute!! Tell him he's in training for the 100m sky diving at the extreme Sports Olympics!! (If such a thing exists!!) btw guys, couldn't we get planking or extrme ironing recognised at Olympic level? We would be a sure fire bet for gold in rio in both!!

Aguero, Tevez, Balotelli, Dzeko? Plus Adebayor is technically still a City player.
That's a lot of money for someone who's 30 next year. I thought this was the kind of signing United were trying to avoid. Take Berbatov for example: he cost £30 million and now they can't get rid of him. On the other hand, Arsenal are getting a good price, especially as they've already got Giroud, Podolski and Santi Cazorla in. Now if they can spend that money on a decent centre-half that won't break down during the season, then perhaps the two Manc clubs won't have it all their own way this season
BREAKING NEWS: A fire has broken out in Robin van Persie's North London penthouse... Police suspect Arsene
robins flown the nest then. it would be funny if rvp could not score for the 4yrs at man utd while arsenal win everything.

I agree 24m for a 30 year olsd is al ot of monney mate, but some people would argue on here that his scoring record in the Prem is second to none!!
I'm surprised Man utd made a move for him and not having offloaded Berbatov
first[u] I guess the money would now just go into Arsenal's coffers readiy for the January transfer window.
My crazy football predictions for 2012/13 follow : -
1) What I hope for most this season (as a QPR fan) is that somewhere along the line we can have a good cup run (or two) and aim for a mid - table finish and Joey Barton finds a job outside football!!
2) We will get through the season with no scandal involving JT!
3) England get off to a winning start for 2014 Finals qualifiers.
3) Sir Alex Ferguson retires after a heavy Man Utd defeat in FA Cup
4) Mancini resigns after Balotelli sets fire to his flat (yet again!!)
I wonder if Piers Morgan still gonna throw himself of the highest building, i'll gladly give him a hand lol
