Sad really i know it is a bit of a con really when teams can lose the 2nd leg but yet still get though but it has been part of UEFA for a long time.
But that is the ever changing landscape of our game not just in this tournament but in the World Cup and Euros and it is not changing for the better in my opinion.

Can't see Levy accepting that, maybe throw in a few players on top of the 100 million then he might take it, or throw in another 50 million.
I thought it went up to £138m according to Times of India don't how they that info...
But I would Imagine Levy would want enough to pay the Stadium debt off but do wonder if Kane's performances in the Euros has ben largely down to not just the poor service he's been getting there's also the fact he's wondering where he is playing next season and he definitely does look as though he's trying too hard and trying to do too much aftter the seson he had.
I reckon the best thing for him is to do now is to drop out of the limelight and the PL Spurs & England for either six months or a year, but keep playing for his local sunday footbal team maybe hasve bit of time away from prying press and stuff and then when he feels ready to do so, step back into the limelight and see what's what. Maybe a bit of time away from the professional game and that scenario will do him good.

So I reckion it now down to extra time then penalties. I often found it confusing how a team away from home in the first leg can still gain adavantage by scoring a goal away from home to get through.
I guess they are trying to level the playing field a bit more in Europe, but often I feel the more you tinker with the rules of com petition the more confusing it becomes to some pepole and you aren't always going to please everybody.
Yeah it's more of a chance for the smaller teams i would say which is the only good thing about it as very often the bigger sides like Barcelona,Juventus,Bayern Munich and Real Madrid can often get an advantage from the away goal rule.
So a shock winner like Club Brugge for example is very possible now. I think myself the Champions League needs this just like with the Premier League when Leicester won it but with the Champions League even more as you get the same old winners all the time and they are always big sides.
^I would agree but to ensure you do get a level playing field then you have to firdt ensure that FFP is working and could you even restrict big teams to to the point as to how many of their overseas players can play in any one match or would you have to sumbit competition squads to UEFA for the CL to ensure teams can competel on a level field as you would for international and only pick from that squad for CL matches?

It's like that already. It's been like that since the Champions League began.
I wonder why Levy never got back to Jurgen Klinsmann over the managers job. Jurgen was a fan favourite in his playing days and has an expressed an interest in the job and to me I reckon Jurgen is a man Spurs fan can get excited about and probably support as their manager in the same way Liverpool support Jurgen Klopp. if Klinsmann got the job, I thionk it would be a great thing to see next season when the two clubs meet...and would Klinsmann even being there tempt Kane to stay???
