thats an honest answer from you terence cos your an arsenal fan and he swore at your manager, and you think it should be left as it is which is fair enough. i can understand man utd fans thinking rooneys been made an example of. is rooney hated that much by the media and fans? some of his own team fans turned against him as well earlier in the season. i think lindor hates him as well, but that might be cos hes a scouser
p.s. congrats on your 1000th post terence!
We'll watch the game tonight so mal and any player we see that swears if they miss a chance, get hurt in a challenge or if they disagree with a refereeing decision we'll take a note and call for them all to be banned/fined. On top of that when the ball goes out of play and the player of the away team takes the corner/throw-in we'll call for the home fans who abuse him to be identified, hunted down and banned from grounds or fined. I guarantee we'll see at least one or 2 incidents of every one of the above.
Basically, Rooney's incident was a lot different and a lot worse than Dalglish's incident. But i also posted somewhere in here or it could have been elsewhere, i'm unsure, that i thought a 2 match ban for Rooney was unfair even though he is a despicable human being
. To ban/fine Dalglish would be ridiculous. I see what you're saying mate and fair enough but if we set that precident then we'd have players and managers getting banned in every 5 minutes. I saw Fergie saying
"aww fucking hell" when the camera went on him when somebody went close to scoring against Chelsea last week. Should he be charged? Of course not. By the way i know it was champions league and that is governed by Uefa not the FA but it's just an example of hundreds of incidents every week.
On another footy forum there are man utd fans calling for Dalglish to be banned and they are getting together to petition the FA. The reason they give is
"even though he didnt swear into the camera, he left his technical area". Do these fucking idiots realise the final whistle was blown and he left his technical area to shake hands with the French whinger like every single manager does after every single game
el diouf is bff with gaddafi.

the best comment i have read over the weekend is from fergie about scholes red saying scholes suffered from "red mist", cause he is ginger and is discriminated for being ginger. zabaleta suffered from "red mist" the ginger twats boot in his thigh.
i bet the damage to the dressing room wall was berbatov trying to kick fergie but missing.

You're right Mal, I do hate Rooney the person as but not because he's a scouser. I hate the person because he's one of the thickest individuals in football who could do so much more and make some real statements if he had more nouse about him.
For instance, he could have really set the cat amonst the pigeons in October when he held the club to ransom over what he rightly perceived to be a lack of ambition in the transfer market. But instead of seeing out his contract and causing uproar at Old Trafford he took the Glazers' two-hundred-and-fifty-thousand pieces of silver and shut the fuck up!
Then, when he was targeted for the Upton Park swearing incident (which I think was really a delayed punishment for the James McCarthy elbow incident at Wigan some weeks earlier which the FA couldn't punishe at the time) he should've made some sort of stance:
either announced his retirement from international football with immediate effect imagine the media fall-out that would have ensued, the probable subsequent relinquishing of the ban on appeal and voila! he'd have un-retired from international football in time for the next internationals!
OR
announced that seeing as the FA saw him as a bad role model that he would not be promoting/advertising any of their shit from now on!
But he's too fucking thick and too fucking soft! I mean apologising for swearing
FUCK RIGHT OFF!
By the way, I hope Groundnpound has recovered from the shock of hearing/seeing Kenny Dalglish swear when impressionable youngsters would have been watching!
The second-biggest difference between Rooney's and Dalglish's swearing was that kids wouldn't have copied Dalglish's outburst in the schoolyard the next day - because it's the end of term!
The biggest is that it's not what was said or in what context, but WHO the offender PLAYS FOR/MANAGES!
4 mins in the manc fans can be heard swearing while singing
"you scouse bastard" at Joey Barton....find them and ban them all
8 mins Ryan Giggs was told
"fuck off" on camera by some geordie fans for disputing a free kick with the linesman....find them and ban them

Whats with the hostilities dude I only asked, & here's me thinking we were now best buddies, this makes me sad you know, real sad.
But seriously I'm now starting to think the way that you keep going on & on & on & on & on about these types of incidents that your the one bloke who stands in the corner on the pub shouting at the football as if he's just shouthig at fresh air thus pissing every fucker in the pub off. Oh & for the record I never thought Rooney should've been banned & don't think I said so in here & if I did it would've been in tune with the thread title!!!
Good night much love
Yoda I'll find you & ban you if your gonna do this the whole game
