There were plenty of ABLs around in the mid-1980s, especially when Liverpool supporters caused the deaths of 39 people at Heysel in 1985, ask the fans of such clubs as Norwich City, Wimbledon and Coventry City who were all denied rare chances to play in Europe as well as the Everton side who twice won the league and might well have won a European Cup themselves had they not been denied the opportunity. I think this might actually be a case of Yoda just following the rules according to the Fouth Estate as opposed to thinking for himself. Wider media coverage and invasion of privacy in today's society means that the winners will naturally be afforded greater scrutiny and so it is that every little detail of United's behaviour both as a club and as individuals will receive vast coverage as United sell newspapers. Though how someone who was about ten-years-old when Liverpool last won the League can obtain such knowledge of their supposedly gracious behaviour without buying into the bullshit that feeds the incapable-of-thinking-for-themselves section of society, I just don't know!

I would ask him in a PRIVATE message, but he'd most likely make it PUBLIC to all and sundry againSad

Nah the FA won't do anything about it, and rightly so

A lot of Utd fans' defence of Rooney was that the camera picked him out, which is rubbish as he was staring at the camera for a long while before deciding to rant at the viewing audience

But this wasn't the case with Dalglish/Wenger, the camera did pick them out just as they were arguing, and caught Dalglish swearing. If they punished him they'd have to hand out countless punishments to all the players the camera catch swearing during a match

So you're still flogging that old horse?? It's last weeks BANTER lindor. Everyone has moved on so let it go. As regards the PM. I told you i was going to tell the other guys you were referring to about what you said in the PM so dont play the victim here. It's over and done with and past tense now.

I'd have thought you'd have had more interesting things to be posting about with your own teams performance on Saturday and Arsenal's implosion yesterday.

RolleyesRolleyes

EDIT: Convenient that you leave it a few days after Hillsborough before mentioning Heysel especially as that series of posts was over 5 days ago. Just noticed that part of your post now. Yes LFC fans are to be blamed for that tragedy. I accept that and would never deny that fact. But dont forget that Liverpool also lost out because of that. We won the league title 3 times in that period. Our double winning team in 86 and the 1988 title winning side especially would have had more than a little chance of winning European Cup too. This is another thing we already discussed via those PM's so i see what you're doing here. Wink

Judge me by my size do you? Hmmm? Hmmm. And well you should not. For my ally is the force. And a powerful ally it is.

this is what im not getting, did it mention swearing down a camera on rooneys charge? did he get a ban for just swearing? on the dalglish wenger handbags, i dont know what wenger said but he said something and kenny reacted by swearing at him which people heard and he shouldnt have done that, he should have kept his dignity but he swore and he knew the camera was there cos it was the end of the match and the camera went straight to them. he should have just walked away and left it instead of swearing which people heard.

have your own opinion, lead dont follow.

RE: Football Banter
I suppose its a fine line between what happened with Rooney and with Dalglish. Dalglish reacted to Wenger's unsportsmanship probably like most would have, but I suppose you could argue that Rooney reacted to the cameraman. Thing is, the cameras know that Rooney will bite - they probably set out to catch him out.

It seems Gerard Houllier played a weakend side against City in the cup telling the players we have no chance of winning the FA cup so there is no point in playing our best eleven - so they were beaten by the team thats now in the final - well done Gerard its up there with Billy Bragg voting Lib Dem at the last election cos its the only way to keep the tories out

4. Non league GK cannot and will not take their own goal kicks! This is the job of the centre back
5.Warm up in ameuter football is shooting at the GK for 30 mins.
6. Players who clean boots are either crap at football or show a distinct lack of respect for the game.
7.The team will rely on one person to bring tape for the boots and socks.
8.The subs who have to run the line are always biased to their own team.
9. Refs continue to get in the way of a pass.
10.Left footers can strike the ball better than rightys.
11.Its always funny when a player gets hit in the nuts with the ball.
12.The wet sponge works on any injury and Im sure studies would show that it could cure AIDS.
13.Football cliques are a hinderences on any team. For example, Its a game of two halves & Both sides have scored a couple of goals, and both sides have conceded a couple of goals."
14.When a fight breaks out all players run in and do the calm down hand gesture.
15.All Arsenal fans and players think that they are always so hard done by. When are they going to learn that Everyone hates them.
16. When its raining it faster to slide tackle than run.
17.There is always a fight involving the smallest guy on the pitch.
18. A good trick when helping up an opponent is to shake/grab his hand with your right and grab his armpit hair with the other. Thus causing a reaction.
19.Everbody in 90 mins tells the refs to f*&k off and calls him a c&*t.
20.saturday league and sunday league football pitches are never allowed to be flat and there has to be at least 5 piles of dog shit on the pitch before kick off.
21.warm up at uni football is a game of HORSE, the loser goes on the line and everyone else boots a ball at their arse from the 6 yard box!
22.Why oh Why are central defenders in Ametuer football always the fattest, oldest players on the pitch with the least hair?
23.It is considered normal on a Sunday morning game to throw up at least once on the side of the pitch due to acohol consumed the night before.
24.Slices of oranges should always be given at half time to make you score more goals!

30. Joes Mouriniho has to say that his team were the better team after every game he loses.
31.Jose Mouriniho is aloud to blame anyone but his team for poor performances and his own arrogance.

33.least one Sunday league center back has to have a smoke before the game and at half time
34.Any keeper that wears joggin pants is scared to hurt his knees when diving
35. When a player is injured the physio has to run on the pitch as fast as possible and the crowd cheers and shouts"GO ON SON!"
36.When a sunday league team player attempts 'skill' that is not totally needed he awards himself the title TARGET and is then marked by the opposing player with the nickname of chopper, killer, cruncher, smasher etc.
37.Nothing gets a home crowd more worked up than the oppo winger placing the ball outside the semi circle when they take a corner (this is seen as blatent cheating),
38.No matter how bad the rest of the team may be,ginger players always get the most stick.
39. Lee bowyer is allowed to keep being a cunt and get away with it! FUCK LEE BOWYER!
40. Fans will hate any English players who do not play for their club. However, when they pull on that England shirt they suddenly hate them that little bit less!? (Rooney, Lampard, Terry)
41. However when Cashly Cole plays for England we still hate that tosser lol, we'd prefer a traffic cone at left back!!...

RE: Football Banter
piss off and fuck off he said mitch! he knew the camera was there but you are a fan of liverpool and of course kenny so i see why you defend him. if fans of any other team defend kenny for that then thats up to them, but when people go on about how he conducts himself and what a man he is and how much class hes got, im sure in some fans eyes he has lost some respect for the way he reacted to wengers lack of sportsmanship. get it in your thick biased head mitch he swore and he knew the camera was there so he should be dealt with like rooney and any others who swear. rooney never got away with it and no1 else should either. wether the fa will do anything i doubt it but not seen any sports news last few days cos been at work.

have your own opinion, lead dont follow.

personally i think the camera 'caught him swearing' rather than rooneys 'swearing at the camera'. if you punish people for the former then there will be a lot of fines handed out!Smile
