as a hugh scotty parker fan he sure worked his socks off, tracking back, winning tackles, i thought the pique chance was in for 1-1 until parker made a great sliding tackle, so glad he played against spain & of course of the 1-0 win, parker deserved to be man of the match he always give his all on the pitch -lets hope england can make it two wins out of two starting against sweden
Intelligent defending against the best team in the world. Lescott and Jagielka looked like they played to Capello's instructions. Good job we didn't have a very Brave defender in the line up.

I am proud, eagle_si. Both central defenders played very well. Good job too. Glen Johnson is a right sided attacking midfielder, not a full back, and Ashley needs to get back together with Cheryl because since their split he has not been the same player.
It's Cheryl's patriotic duty to start boffing Ashley again to ensure his good performances.
was just on yahoo when i heard the news a footballer from the belgian lower league died of a heart attack today, his name was called bobsam elijiko he was 30 yr old of nigerian/belgain by birth & what made it more sad his family was watching in the stands - no words could describe what anguish they must be going through right now. this remind me of the sad deaths of two other players that died of a heart attacks, Marc-vivian-foe & miklos feher
R.I.P bobsam elijiko, marc-vivian-foe & miklos feher - you will be missed
