As far as I'm concerned, I've always felt that having been through the law courts of the land the Fa should have accepted the court decison and reach the same conclusion as the courts and that shouild have been the end of the matter.
I suppose you could copmare Cole's remarks with those of a certain Will Carling. (Anyone remember him?)

next time i think they should just punch eachother more likely slap eachother.
Maybe there should be a charity boxing matches between JT & Anton Ferdinand & Roy Hodgson and Rio Ferdinand.

Although as a club we are exceeding my expectations i will pass further judgement on his performance when we have played a few of the big clubs, starting with Man City next week.

You guys have a 100% home record, you're joint 3rd and you've taken points from the likes of Liverpool, Everton and Spurs.
It's early days obviously but at least give the guy a little credit
this game is proving that newcastles last season was a 1 off.. kind of a fluke season... no way top 5 this year..

I agree to a point that we won't make top 5 this season, but to say what we were lucky last season is frankly stupid and I'm actually getting fed up of that being said all the time
Yes we won some matches last season with a bit of luck such as away to Blackburn or when we got that point away to Man United, but you don't get lucky after 38 games in a season. Its mainly down to hard work, team work and good team spirit to do what we did last season.
I'm sick of this notion every time clubs like mine do a good season, everyone says its lucky, its fucking ignorant.
On the game today though, we are being slaughtered at the moment by Man United, we are second best so far and made an awful start to the game.
