I know they'll never bring back Rafa,so at least they should go for a bit more experience,Van Haal-Manager & Cyruff-Director of football, this could be a good way go for me,possiblity of some quality signings and a sound dutch football ethic, witch is no bad thing.
We now need clear direction of where we're heading,we can't keep trying to look so far ahead because without no present their is no future.

There's no future in 60 year old managers either Roberto Martinez has earned his chance & I hope he gets it.
Just heard he is in miami right now talking to the owners

At this moment in time Liverpool need stability, not another punt at possibilities,so if that means a 60 year old with a decent record and not a young prospect who seem to be getting plaudits for managing to survive two relagation battles,I for one would rather van gaal if only to bring a bit more managerial experience to help steady what is,let's face it a very unsteady ship.
While this is not my first choice by any means,Pep Guadiola would be first choice followed by Rijkaard who would be in the mix also, just my opinion tho.

Have I heard right, goal-line tech to be used against Belgium??? Why can't they just stick 2 guys either side of the net. Decisions are human error so why change it. I can't stand all the goal-line bollocks, it'll just cause more squabbles than we need, we'll have it for throw-ins next.

RE GLT:it will only be used on a trail basis in the match,it will not be used for any decisions during the game.

Have you seen the shit job they do in Champions League and Europa League matches?
all they need to do is put a couple of camera at the back in the top corners like they did at world cup 2010 in the englan v germany game. replays, slow mo or super slow mo these now days take only seconds to come up on our tv screens. they should use camera in the cross as well like in cricket they have cameras in the stumps.
sepp blatter wants to find an alternative to penalties, they scrapped the next goal (golden goal) wins in extra time. penalities were introduced to stop cup games going to like 4 replays.

It's quicker than seconds. The goal line technology being tested now works within half a second.
basically if it crosses over the line it will display on a watch like receiver on the ref's arm

didn't the MLS once have a shootout kind of thing where a player had 30 seconds to score or something? I know they do it in ice hockey.
