He didn't get booked because he didn't break any rule. Balotelli on the other hand lifted his shirt over his head which is against the rules and so in that case he was booked.
So Southampton sack a young manager with decent potential, building useful experience and doing a good job with a team doing reasonably well considering where it has been in recent seasons. Utter madness.
So who do they recruit? Another young manager with some experience and promise but one who does not speak English. Always works that one; having managers unable to communicate effectively with players
it's the usual managers musical chairs then!! lol
wat's the odds on 'Arry?
Southampton must be nuts!!
I agree with 'Bytor'. Why sack a manager who has managed to pull his team away from the bottom of the league, only to replace him with a non English speeching manager.
I hope Southampton reap their true reward with a move to the Championship next session.
I've had enough of this shambolic season.
Horrendous result today.
Everything looked good in the first half and we took the lead.
And then disaster struck late in the second half.
Embarrassing to lose to a team that haven't won ONCE away from home this season
This season for Pardew is turning out to be a replica of his time at West Ham when they got relegated under him
I'm confident now that we will go down now and will be spending next season in the Championship
It's good Newcastle are getting yanga mbiwa but the worry is he views Newcastle as a stepping stone to a bigger club which he said in the past, better for Newcastle to get commited players but if they are happy with signing him for a season or 2 then it's a good move

Doesn't make a difference now who we sign in my opinion.
He will probably leave at the end of the season when we get relegated when someone activates a clause in his contract. It will probably mean Colocinni will be leaving for San Lorenzo in the January transfer window.
I no longer have any faith that Pardew and the players have the fight to get Newcastle out of this mess we are in.
Serious questions should also be asked of Ashley being owner of Newcastle.
Apparently Snowballs were thrown at the venkys at the our match
just hope it was yellow snow
Brilliant result for us today, one which I didn't expect us to get to be honest
If you take shola ameobi as an example, he has been great servant for the club but nowadays he doesn't do anything so it's better they say "thank u for your service but we have to let you go", again Ashley will be bashed and rightly so cuz he should be making sure his manager has atleast 3 top strikers at his disposal but they don't and instead have to bring through sammy ameobi and ranger.
Ill say it again what the hell happened to the caroll money?
