Pompy should have been wound up the first time round
So should every team that enters administration and can't pay back IN FULL the money owed to business because of greed.
Tiote has confirmed he is staying at Newcastle, great news

What about cabaye?
I think he wants to stay for now, although there were rumours that Barcelona would make an 8 million bid for Cabaye, which is clearly not enough. Pardew has stated a few weeks ago that Newcastle would sell some key players if a good offer was made. Also Debuchy looks like be our first choice right back next season, as it looks like we may grab him for 7 millon from Lille
neymar has done his impression of amir khan. i would like to see a player to bounce the ball or a fist or 2 off a players head when they going down to easly.
Quote:Doubt Douglas would be arriving as he stated his intention to remain with twente, plus a 4m bid ain't gonna get very far is it?
In terms of the carroll situation, I think that's dead as Newcastle ain't going to pay 20m to take him back.
Really Douglas wants to stay at Twente, looks like Newcastle will have to look elsewhere. I can't think of quality defender with a reasonable price that we could buy
Watched Team GB last night. Thought we did well to lose only 2 - 0, but I was left thinking we will struggle a bit. Whether we can get past Senegal in the first game - and on the evidence of last night - we have to raise our game then and play way better. The goalkeeper in the second half was good, made some decent saves, but thought the penalty deciasion was a bit questionable or possibly harsh. Brazil look like the one team that could stop Spain claiming yet another international title.
I might watch the football during Olympics, there appears to be a lot of exciting young footballers that will be playing during the Olympics. On a Newcastle perspective, I'm glad Ba and Cisse didn't go with Senegal to the Olympics, because they have to play in the African cup of Nations with Senegal next January, so they will be playing a lot of football next season
I read on the BBC that Juventus want to sign Van Persie and Suarez. I believe they will try and sign Van Persie, but not Suarez, he's one of Liverpool's best players in my opinion anyway, so I doubt he will go. I say Juventus should up their interest in Cavani, he's a brilliant player to have in anyones squad, he would be good for Arsenal or Tottenham. I'm also surprised nobody has even put in a bid for Llorente, Soldado or Falcao
I can sympathize with Portsmouth fans here, their team relegated from The Championship, unable to buy new players, cash-stripped & a -10 point deduction is a lot to take on board
This happen at my beloved club Leeds United, administration, relegation to League 1, -10 deduction, money troubles etc etc . I wouldn't wish this on any club let alone Portsmouth FC
