sigurdson- is that the best the spuds can do?
he had a good loan spell with swansea but is he worth it?
sigurdson owes everything to swansea for actually taking him on loan, giving him regular starts, the fans loved him- now he just throws it back in their face.
its got the move of pienarr to spuds written all over it.
Sigurdsson would be a good signing IMO - he's a good player from what I've seen last season, young and relatively cheap.
I tell you one thing that does piss me off with football these days is the football agents i don't think they care about football players at all, they just use them to see which club is gonna pay the most for them or when its not that the encourage them to leave as they know get there little fee at the end of the day
.
Don't be fooled by players claims about there love of the game, while I'll agree there's some unscrupulous agents(most of them), there are shed loads of greedy bastard players out there to.
i am disappointed at how QPR dealt with Barton and hope being stripped of the captaincy is enough to make him walk on the club and if it does, I'd say good riddance! if I'd been chairman or whatever I would have torn up his contract there and then and showed him the door the minute he got sent off on the last day. Fining him six weeks' wages wasn't enough it shouldo of have been at least six months!!
So much for me! Bale stays, or is at least in contract, 'til 2016, so a two-year extension. If we do get Sigurdsson as well, it may be a sign that a manager has given Levy a wish list. If not, the new gaffer had better think twice before falling out with the chairman's choices!
Can't wait for tonight's game between Germany & Italy on BBC1, hopefully it will a crackin game to watch between both sides.
My predictions - Germany to just sneak it 2-1 full time (either Gomez or Klose to score the winnin goal tonight)
Barcelona look set to sign Jordi Alba for 14 million, a very good buy for them in my opinion. I find it strange though Everton value Baines, who is England's second choice left back at 20 million and Alba, who is first choice for Spain goes for 14 million. It just shows, you get more value for money for players outside the Premiership from other European leagues
i know i thought alba's value would be closer to 25 million

One of the bargains of the summer, so far in my opinion
