3-5-2 or 3-4-1-2 is big in Italy just now. The popular formation down there used to be a 4-3-1-2 but it offers next to nothing in terms of width, so teams are changing to the 3-5-2 or 3-4-1-2 to get the width from the wing backs. It's designed to give you extra bodies in the middle, provide width and get your team further up the pitch.
David Platt said that Mancini drilled them on the 3-5-2 formation all pre season. They would switch to it last season to see games out when they had the lead but instead of using it for defensive reasons this season, he wants to use it for its attacking benefits.
It'll take a bit of time to perfect.
We've been playing 3-5-2 which has looked amazing going forward but our defence has taken a battering because of it
A very poor Spurs performance tonight looks like its gonna be one of seasons, Anyway good luck to Liverpool and Newcastle tonight.
Great result in the Europa League tonight for Newcastle, we won 3-0 against Bordeaux, who are the top seeds in our group.
Great preparation for the Man United game this Sunday.

pages 60-61 of the findings
(iii) Mr. Terry was subjected to extreme provocation by the wholly
inappropriate behaviour of Mr. Ferdinand. That cannot in any way excuse
or justify what Mr. Terry said in response, but the altercation between
them could and should have ended in the QPR penalty area, if it ever had
to happen at all. Mr. Laidlaw described Mr. Terry‟s words as “perhaps an
almost unconscious stream of invective”, delivered in anger, and “without
thinking through the consequences of what he was about to say.”
bet this wont be used int the papers that accused terry of being a Rascist Thug
(iv) A significant number of those who are, or have been, involved in the
game of professional football have provided character references for Mr.
Terry. They include black players who attest to the fact that, as Chelsea
club captain, he welcomes every player to the club and looks after them,
irrespective of skin colour, race or ethnicity. The statement of Ryan
Bertrand is perhaps the most notable. It is accepted by everyone involved
in the criminal and disciplinary proceedings that Mr. Terry is not a racist.
just like evra did to saurez. in both cases had elements of doubt in a court of law but the fa panel are not burden with "beyond doubt" element.
next time i think they should just punch eachother more likely slap eachother.
