After the debacle at Sunderland last week, I'm surprised that Mancini ever picked him for such an important game!!
I wouldn't be suprised if at the end of the season, Man City cut their losses on him, because he just seems to to have his mind on things elsewhere and not on the job in hand. I feel disappointed for City (even though I'm a QPR supporter and we have our own problems), it would have been nice to have seen a new name on the Premiership roll of honour.
I hope to watch our game tonight before bed, just to see how marginal the decision was:- a) how far offiside Young was and b) whether Derry's foul warranted a red card! Judging by the reaction on 606 on R5, some United supporters even questioned the ref's decision. How did he overrule the linesman if he had flagged orignally for offiside? IMHO it does show when you visit Old Trafford you are always going to get one controversial decision!! Mark Hughes did say also that QPR will appeal against the red card but I don't think it will be overturned.
As far as Mancini's position I think it's likely he won't be there by the last game, he has suffered the same as AVB - he has lost the dressing room.
