What I believe to be the 1st management sacking of the season..
No it's not AVB at Spurs it Colchester manager John Ward..
Colchester have had a poor start in the 1st Division
And would you believe it..
Last year Steve Kean managed to get his Rovers team relegated to the Championship.. But the owners refused to sack him.
But now the Rovers boss is understood to be on the brink of the sack.
Owners Venky's have been in discussion about Kean's position since Saturday, despite the club being in an automatic promotion place in the Championship.
Despite Blackburn sitting second in the table after seven matches, supporters have continued to chant for his removal (mostly from Hannah's Pet) and he faced high levels of abuse in the 2-1 defeat to Middlesbrough on Friday.
I really couldn't give a shit what JT gets upto OFF THE PITCH as long as he does the job ON THE PITCH.
For a player who has always been consistent for both club and country (one of the few players that is) i think it's a massive loss because if there's one person i would want on my side when you cross that white line it's him.
If you look at many of the incidents he's been involved in most are dubious anyway.
The affair with Wayne bridge's girlfriend Vanessa Perroncel was always strenuously denied by both sides, even the news of the world and the mail on sunday retracted their stories claiming they were 'untrue in any case'. Now i'm not saying it didn't happen but if you believe what others have had to say about this bird she had a reputation for putting herself about a bit. Not saying that makes it alright to cheat on your wife but he's hardly the first person to commit adultery.
The Anton Ferdinand debacle was like Terry has said 'cleared in a court of law' so in my opinion that should be the end of the matter. If the higher powers have deemed it not punishable then whats the problem?
I can understand why he has made the decision, the whole Ferdinand saga has dragged on for far too long and i think he's been made a bit of a scapegoat especially following on from Evra/Suarez.
Rant over!

Last week Terry Brown was sacked as manager of AFC Wimbledon, and Saturday saw Gary Waddock of Wycombe WFC lose his job, after losing to Wimbledon!
Incidentally, both were the last two managers of Aldershot Town FC, who now have no previous managers in a job!
Great to see Newcastle not play very well in our first 5 games, but still have 8 points in the bag that puts us in the top 10 in the table. A good win yesterday beating Norwich 1-0
Good to see Ba scoring regularly again, but I'm concerned Cisse hasn't scored yet this season. Cisse had a chance to change that yesterday, but took a shit penalty.
I wonder if Ba will score all the goals in the first half of this season and then Cisse starts banging in the goals in the second half of the season
So we almost had 2 of the biggest giant killing results in English football at the weekend.
Chelsea beat Stoke 1-0, but unfortunately Man City were held to a 1-1 draw at Arsenal

Not true. Coventry fired Andy Thorn after three league games, which were all draws. They lost their next five games after sacking him
I thought i heard that Kean finally got the boot from Blackburn!!
