i for one wear my arsenal top alot so it's unrealistic for me to get two seasons out of it. arsenal stagger the release of their home and away tops so there's a new top to buy every year even though the tops last two years individually. also because i can't go to see matches regularly, i see it as my way of putting some money back into my club.

The technology will not be used until the 2013/14 season
Yes it will. Many countries have said they will use it before then, assuming it's approved in July. The Major Soccer League in the USA have said they could use it this year.
i can see it now, soccercam! coming to an arena near you 2014!
do you mean 3D soccer as envisaged by mr Murdoch?
^^i mean it'll go to america, it'll work and it'll come back called soccercam or goalcam or something like that, all americanised.
fifa have previous with this sort of thing. what was wrong with calling linesmen linesmen? no, american football has assistant referees, we need assistant referees!

I see what you mean now!! they don't call managers managers now they call them head coaches, right?
So it looks like if you pay 40 or 50 million for one of our players you get him. I love that feeling of not being concerned. Our key may not want to leave as we are in Europe and if they do leave we get bags of cash to find replacements for reasonable prices

Chelsea should be confidant that they can exploit Bayern Munich's defence in the Champions League final next week, because Bayern Muncih were beaten 5-2 by Borussia Dortmund in the German cup final
My tip for all football scouts, find out who newcastle want to buy and get him first.
Newcastle have bought really well, cheap foreign players that turn out to be amazing in the prem.
they won't all work out though. if Newcastle develop a mindset that they will just find another Cisse, Ba or Cabaye if they have to, eventually they will come unstuck

If I was a Newcastle scout, I would pretend I'm interested in a player in the French league, you know he's shit, but the other clubs won't know and the other clubs will swarm like locusts to buy him. While there fighting for his signature, Newcastle can wrap up a deal for a good player at all this time in secret, its genius
