diving not ok but stamping and elbowing other players is ok.
it could be worse for newcastle they could sponsored by a rubbish american car company, have a sponsor that has not made a profit since it started trading yet manages to give away £400m or be run by tw@ts oh they are already are.
Quote:Newcastle have got a sponsorship deal with Wonga.com
Newcastle have attracted criticism for agreeing to be sponsored by a company which charges interest at 4,214 per cent, but at least the stadium won't be renamed 'The Wonga Stadium'.. But the name will be on their shirts..
Why is it all of sudden we are getting vilified for this sponsorship deal by the media when Wonga already sponsor Blackpool and Hearts? I didn't hear anyone question their morals, but now its seen as a disgusting act when we do it.
I don't know the ins and outs of what Wonga get up to and they may not be a friendly company, but why is there all of a sudden a tidal wave of anger towards us.

About fucking time

or maybe even Durex? in JT's case that probably would be the sponsorship deal of the season!!

At the same time a linesmen should make the referee aware of the situation. It is time the FA looked at this more seriously as it is ruining the game. And my team (QPR), we were on the end of a few dodgy decisions last season. and i would say many would think Man Utd players are the worst divers.
The problem with that is, I can think of quite a few occasions where a player's been booked for simulation, but replays showed he didn't dive. That's bad enough, to wrongly accuse a player of cheating, but to punish them and his team [for essentially getting fouled], by sending them off would be a disgrace. If they're gonna introduce a harsher punishment for diving, it HAS to be retrospective. But the FA won't do that, because they're worried about correcting referees' and hurting their feelings
Phoenix, what would be your punsihment? i'm surprised Suarez never even got a yellow card for wht he did.
