Liverpool had less shots on target less possession & less corners & than Newcastle. Despite what you say Newcastle had almost 70min with injury time to comeback where as liverpool had 46min + injury time which was maybe 2-3min & they were playing in the European Cup Final not an every week Premier League match & the gulf between Milan & Liverpool at the time was pretty fuckin huge. & the final in 99 was contested by two domestic league champions
And don't forget Newcastle also played 40 minutes and scored 4 goals against 10 men!!!!!
Seriously good comeback though
egg chaser alert - werent man utd 1-0 down after 90 mins with a few mins injury time in 99 euro final? 2 mins later they won it, so they had 2 mins injury time and they went from losin to winning, so isnt that a better come back than being 3-0 down with 45 mins to go, cos it only takes a second to score a goal and theres alot of seconds in 45 mins is there not? as for the league, taggart thinks that 84 points will win it, but i think somewhere in the 70's will win it and people are saying arsenal have got the easiest run in, but after yesterdays results, bottom beating top and newcastle drawing with the arsenal then it just shows theres no easy games.
another good comeback i forgot to mention was bobby ewing in dallas!

Premier League strugglers place manager on gardening leave
I'll never understand it. Managers take their clubs up from the Championship and then they get sacked when their team understandably struggles in the Premier League. Ruthless business!!
And would i be right in saying West Brom change managers EVERYTIME they come into the Premier League???
How is Liverpool's still classed a 'comeback' wasn't it just ac fixing the game for the bookies? You know like they did in their league

good one gaz and o yeah lets not forget bruce grobbelaar, all the games he fixed as well lol.
newcastle should have been down to 9 men, bartons tackle on diaby and nolan arms around the arsenals keepers neck trying to get the ball. also newcastle got a very soft penalty. arsenals defence capitulated.
How on earth can you say that Newcastle's comeback was better than Liverpool's in the final of the Champions League. I'm not a liverpool fan, but nothing will ever top Liverpool's comeback against Milan. Newcastle had 70 minutes to come back, most of which were against 10 men. And newcastle had 50,000 fans behind them. Liverpool's was in a major final against at that time one of the best team's in the world. And Liverpool had to do it against 11 men and in only half a match. So nothing will ever top Liverpool's comeback but Newcastle's was good
