Lukaku - you're joking right?
We may as well congratulate Gareth Bale right here and now on winning the Young Player Award.
also how the fuck did Wilshere get in YPOTY? PFA clearly know nothing about football

They must know something, because you can't become a professional footballer by physical abilities alone. Footballers need to analyse situations and come up with solutions to problems and to do it creatively and under pressure and at intense speed. Only at a set piece is there much thinking time to be had. In short if they knew nothing about football they couldn't have become footballers in the first place.
Dude i was being partly sarcastic, no need to give me an essay

Yes and no.
I'm being a bit picky as I don't agree with the Under-23 eligibility rule. Personally I'd prefer the award to recognise Under-21 players who have broken into the first team this season.
Players like Nastasic, Oscar, Shaw, Davies etc. So out of those on that list, Lukaku's the one that stands out for me

Are you sure about this? Footballers?? analysing and coming up with solutions......I don't fink most of 'em can even tork proply 'Arry let alone fink abaht fings
Its a joke that Welbeck is nominated for Young Player of the Year. He's only scored 2 goals all season and I personally think he is only in there because of his performances against Real Madrid.
Wilshere I'm not sure about either as he's been out for much of the season although he has a better case than Welbeck to be included.
Players like Nastastic, Rafael and even Shaw should feel disappointed not to be in the list.
As for the senior category. The only one I'd argue against is Hazard. I think players like Verthonghen, Baines, Zabaletta and Michu have been better for their clubs than Hazard has been.
Also the fact no defender has been included in either list shows there is a lack of appreciation for defenders. Perhaps it would be better if there was an award for each area: goalkeeper, defender, midfielder and striker.
I think Bale will win both awards, but I would personally give the top award to Suarez and I suppose give Bale Young Player of the Year, but I think Benteke will run him close.
Of course Bale will win it, everyone licks his arse and everyone hates Suarez unless they're a Liverpool fan/player

Of course the PFA do name a team of the year, so players in all positions do get recognised.

No I meant for example Lloris winning goalkeeper of the year, Verthongthen getting defender of the year etc etc etc.
