Obviously I'll watch it, but I can't say I share the feeling of
can't wait for it because at the end of the day for me - like Mitchell - it's all about my own team. When United play I will mentally kick every ball and dissect every play to figure where it may have gone wrong/better etc, even if it's a shit game. But when it's two other sides - even if the
do play better football, it just won't have that same
meaning to me as if it was my own team.
I wouldn't even entertain going to any final, least of all a Champions' League Final at £100 for the back-seats, if United weren't there but would certainly hope that my ticket would go to a real fan of one of the two finalists - yes, even a dirty rat-eating scouser
- than to one of those tw@ts who comprise the 'UEFA family'.

- yes, even a dirty rat-eating scouser - .
I'm still trying to dissect every play to see what
if anything went
wrong/better -
Thursday night Channel Five
Yo mancidoodle stop tea leafing my speech, I'm an individual not a trendsetter.
I am gutted over tonights result we played with real heart and passion in the second half and ended up with nothing conceeding a very(good) late goal...but we have to take comfort in this Leicester are a good side and my tip for promotion via the play -offs and we gave them a game we have to build on this performance against Watford on Tuesday and get away from the relegation zone
Mitchell - I think the only silver-lining on that dark cloud over Prague on Thursday Night Channel Five was the fact that the bank accounts of Scousers don't look like being troubled for a minimum of £100 in the very near future
.
I think that the Channel Five trophy, as I call it, is some sort of footballing purgatory, where those who try to join the greed league that is the Champions' League but narrowly miss out, are forced to endure the Europa League and its many disadvantages, such as crap eastern European pitches, travelling to outposts just on a Thursday, disinterest in the competition (that's TWO Liverpool managers this season alone who've not given a toss about it judging by team selections) plus the added disadvantage of having to play next fixtures on a Sunday, and thus playing catch-up, which can be mentally tougher than playing at the same time as everyone else.
Honestly, when United are bad enough (probably much sooner than you think, though not sooner than you wish
, Mitch), I honestly hope that we finish outside the Thursday Night Channel Five spots - perhaps you'll only realise what a good job Roy Hodgeson was doing when you play My-Pa47 away in the freezing Finnish fog come around September, before Dalglish managed to revive you by qualifying you for the Europa League.
I think Channel Five are missing a trick; they should change the theme tune to the original song by
The Piranhas and have a group of lads dressed in the shirts of the four English clubs who qualified for the Champions' League chanting Thursday Night Channel Five as the theme tune. That would add a hilarious final insult to the poor bastards who have to endure this Trophy That Nobody Wants To Win.
Crazy fuckers, what I wouldn't give for my team to be in Europe
as i said before, please give thanks to platini and his friends at ufea.
come on crawley, 1-0 to crawley. chelsea brought the wrong torres, they should have brought sergio not fernando.
it would be great if chelsea qualified for the europa league and lost to most obscure team from eastern europe in the playoff game before the group stage.
