I'm glad I watched Bill O'Herlihy on RTE, because it sounds like Adrian Chiles was painful to watch on ITV.
When I look at the moment Platini gave the medals and trophy to Chelsea, he didn't look to happy. Seems to have an agenda with the Premiership and goes on about how teams Chelsea and Man City spend money, but he doesn't look at Malaga or PSG

He'll be even more gutted when England win Euro 2012 which I suspect is set up for a Germany France Final. I do really hope that England do win it, as I'd like them and Roy to stuff Lineker's "Losers" words that appeared in the Star back down his throat. Being well paid for MOTD obviously gets in the way of his national pride. He is of course enititled to his opinion, (like everybody else), but to rubbish the team before a ball is kicked in Euro 2012 is a bit rich from him. He'll probably be also a tad jealous if they win too because the team will have something he never got in his international career - a winner's medal at international level.

And if you read his tweets you will know he never said never such thing you should know by now not to belive 90% things in newspapers only one reason to buy the star and thats page 3
Even if he did say those things which i doubt he did he won something in 86 the Golden boot
beating maradona and 2nd time all time england scorer (prob equal 1st if Graham taylor hadnt subbed him in 92 euros) christ we have to listen to geoff hurst spouting on cos he had one good game for england
he isnt in the top 10 in top scorers
You know what is becoming quiet tiresome now, people saying Chelsea and other teams with billionaire owners buy there titles. I see it frequently in newspaper comments, even from some journalists. I think every team buys success including my own, no matter if its large quantities of cash like 90 or 100 million or 10 or 15 million its still spending money from a club trying to reach there goals in a season. People always target Chelsea and Man City when it comes to spending, because its easy. Nobody ever targets teams like Barcelona, who according to deloitte have the higest paid players in the world and have spent huge transfer fees on Sanchez, Villa, Dani Alves. Every team does it, but there is nothing wrong with that in my opinion. We live in a football world that requires money to be spent, you get nowhere without spending a penny

But at the end of the day it's the results on the pitch is all that matters
