Has anyone seen the 118118 advert.
It shows a penalty and it's identical to the one taken by Robben in extra time, the one save by Cech using his left hand.
It was aired at 8.15am this morning.
Is it coincidence?
Or did they somehow make it overnight.
Hey guys im new to this thread and this is my 1st post.
I wondered what you guys thought of Terry lifting the cup up last night and coming on with his kit on and the other players who were suspended.
Im a Man U fan and i hate Chelsea but fairplay to them last night, i just thought it was a joke how the guy who got sent off in the semi final and left them in the shit got to lift the cup1
When Man U won it in 1999 Roy keane was suspended and he was our captain but he didn't lift the cup in the final or come on with his kit on. Same for Paul Scholes.
I know it sound abit stupid about the kit i just though it was unfair on the guys who played on that night.Just wondered if it was me who thought it was wrong..
Anyway well done to the English club that beat the Germans
Cheers guy

I think it would have been right and fair if Lampard got to lift the trophy himself seen as how he is the captain for the final. Terry was suspended and should not have lifted it.
On suspended players being allowed on the pitch to join the celebrations, what harm really does it do, Roy Keane and Paul Scholes got to celebrate on the pitch after the final with Bayern Munich in 1999

When I look at the moment Platini gave the medals and trophy to Chelsea, he didn't look to happy. Seems to have an agenda with the Premiership and goes on about how teams Chelsea and Man City spend money, but he doesn't look at Malaga or PSG
adrian chiles is always painful to watch and listen to. i had itv on mute and listened to 5live on the net. malaga and psg are not near champions league yet so he wont care. i suspect platini is a socialist like the pigs in animal farm.

no they have not won everyting, world cup, europa league, euro championship? more importantly the jonston paint trophy.
there is nothing wrong for suspended players joining the team on the pitch after the team that played have collected their medals and trophy but they must stay in their suits not change into their club kits.

On your first response, Malaga and PSG will be in the Champions League next season and have plenty of cash to splash. I'm not saying they will win the competition, but lets just say they won't be embarrassed.
On your second response, yes I agree those Chelsea players have not won every major trophy, so why have you included the Johnstone's Paint trophy or are you just joking

So what is the difference in JT lifting the cup last night and Roy Keane not being allowed for Man U in '99? Why was JT allowed and Keane wasn't? Disd Abramovich slip UEFa a few backhanders to ensure it?
It was all cleared by UEFA so dont know why there is such a big bloody witch hunt for
seems some of the press more concerned about that than Chelsea actually winning the damm thing also now starting about torres wanting to leave and the fact he never took a penalty

Fair enough, I guess theres no point going on about it, its hardly a crime against humanity what happened

Your information is incorrect. It's untrue that Keane wasn't allowed to lift the cup in 1999. UEFA would have cleared Keane (and Scholes) to lift the cup if Man Utd had checked with them, but unlike Chelsea they didn't do so.
I'm getting a little annoyed with Danny Simpson. He says he wants to stay with Newcastle, but refuses to sign a new contract. He says he's not greedy, but if he is not greedy why didn't he sign our first contract offer. He's a good player, but I won't cry if he leaves, we will just go and buy Nathaniel Clyne off Crystal Palace if he does leave
