I feared an absolutely monumental hammering of epic proportions against Chelsea but to be fair to my lot they have made a decent fight of it for the most part.
They got undone as the game got stretched against superior players but there is no shame in that. Without question in my mind Wolves got the toughest draw of anyone and put up some stern resistance.
Just makes losing 1-0 at home to Wigan in midweek all more disappointing.
The sooner everyone at the club realizes we are in a relegation battle the better.
Points are required and quickly
.
Now this cup run is at an end it's time to focus on survival.
Not something I should have ever been needing to say but with the shenanigans of the last 7 months or so it has come to pass.
the matchs were kinds to us today Snookered well apart from burton beating norwich
Forest losing mean your 1 point behind with 2 games in hand
Trouble is we haven't got a proper goalscorer and concede very poor goals. Or to put it bluntly we are crap at both ends and only marginally better in between
. It's all very fine players playing well and stadiums being full for glory cup ties. Wolves need good performances and good atmospheres every week. The two go hand in hand though. If the players put the shift in and the fans can see that the support will be there. But make no mistake Wolves are in trouble and need to urgently up their game in the league.
Well done Lincoln FC!! First non league team since 1914 to reach the FA Cup Q/finals that's some feat!! And add Millwall's demolition of Leicester into it, and suddenly the FA Cup Q/Final draw will certainly have something less of a familiar look about it for me
All we need to complete it is Sutton taking Arsenal apart tomorrow if Sutton pull of the unthinkable (which is unlikely) and that would surely make up Wenger's mind about his position at the end of the season
Wow Draw
Christ is Sutton Do the unthinkable and beat Arsenal then will be a non league team in the semi's
How good would it be for the FA Cup if Sutton beat Arsenal then beat Lincoln and reached the semis?
So it's Lincoln away against either Sutton or Arsenal
I think the Q/F draw is the best draw for neutrals and the best for the competition as a whole this season
I know my brother said it would be good for the competition if Sutton and Lincoln got drawn together and they did!! All we need to know now is how strong a team Arsene puts out tonight (which I fancy is likely but we will have to see) and how well they will cope with the 3G pitch whether that gives Sutton an advantage we will also have to see I know Lincoln have said they have made over £1m from this cup run and not getting promoted would be a disaster for them, but I would not be surprised if Sutton have made more than a £1m, but god knows how much either side would make from getting into semis if Sutton win tonight!!
