massive fail by you bigguy, it was 6 - 3 pal, your research let you down ?
Hate to disagree with you both lads, especially you Fonzy, but the day of the grey shirts excuse was a 3-1 defeat at The Dell, and not the 6-3 which I think followed the following season
And Ferguson was right - it was 3-0 at half-time and then we won the second half 1-0
!
Regards the post that Master Yoda made a couple of days ago, it was myself who sent the PM to him; I've no problems with admitting it on here. The only reason I've not done it sooner is because I've not been on-line for a couple of days
.
The conversation was intended to be private, and I do wish it had remained that way, but that's okay by me - I'm big enough to come on and explain myself to you lads.
Basically, I made a post a few days ago and couldn't understand why Yoda took such exception to it; he explained to me that it was my supposed dig at Kenny Dalglish that had riled him, I explained that I was merely the messenger as I was only saying something which had appeared in that morning's tabloids regards JW Henry's apparent stalling on giving Dalglish a long-term contract. Anyway, wires were crossed, and after an eloquent exchange of PMs our differing views of the content and context of my post were ironed out.
I'll probably get stick for this admission on here, but hey, football is a game of opinions and I feel entitled to voice mine just as much as the next person, and when I feel the response has been unfair or difficult to understand then I will, on occasion, choose to PM that person and ask for their reasonings etc on a one-to-one basis away from the prying eyes and comments of those whom the matter does not concern.
And that, basically, is that!
At Bradford City we know all about tragedy going to a football match and never coming home is something that just shouldnt happen - Remember that next time your team gets stuffed 5-0 or loses the league or gets knocked out of Europe/FA Cup or is relegated/fails to be promoted theres always the next game/next season to get it right and that some people will never be around to see it
RIP the 96
On a further note thank you to Master Yoda and Groundnpound and anyone else on the Hillsborough Avatars the anniversary of the Bradford City fire is next month and I hope to have a appropriate avatar for the occasion
RIP the 96 and anyone who lost their lives at a football match and indeed any player who lost their lives on their way home from a match

fair enough
, all i remember was fergie blamed the away kit because the players could not see each other.
kenny has said that the panel that is holding an inqury on what lead to the tragic events at hillsbrough is closer to getting justice to the families and the 96. no one deserved what happened. rip 96

Hmmm. You're ''friends'' are correct. Salmon pink.
Lovely colour that brightens up the Premier League in my opinion.
palermo in serie a wear pink. if its good enough for them then its good enough for ashley cole.
it could be worse.
Disclaimer straight away. I'm of an age were I don't hate any other teams any more.
For us neutrals, anyone else underwhelmed by the thought of the Man U - Man City semi-final. Normally I love semi-finals, even if Everton aren't involved, but I can't get excited by this game. I'm sure Man U and Citeh supporters think otherwise.
Man U, the behemoth of the last twenty years, so obviously, as a neutral, you should favour Citeh, but with all their money, and ruining football, replacing Chelsea, since 2009, I couldn't give a fig.
Come on Stoke, it takes all sorts of football to make it a great game, or Bolton, who I quite like, apres Big Sam, one of you win the cup.
